next time she bites roll your hand a fist and stick it further enough into its mouth to cause it discomfort. Do this every time the dog bites you? The Perfect Puppy is a great book, it teaches you alot.

Say "Ouch!", act like she hurt you badly, and walk to another room when she bited you. Close the door behind you and leave her there for a minute. Than come back and continue your activities. This works best with 8 week old puppies but it should work with your puppy.

Go to Amazon.com and order Dr. Ian Dunbars book "After You Get Your Puppy". It is the best little training book you'll ever need and it deals quite a bit with the biting thing.

Although a puppie, dog should NEVER bite you. It will become an issue as she gets older. Get perhaps your hands on any book or DVD by Cesar Millan. NEVER hit your dog. On her nose or anywhere else. There are other ways to teach and discipline your dog.

UNAccpetable behavior.. next time she bites you,,, take hold of her cheeks, lift her up onto her hind legs, give a little shake and look her in the eyes and say UT UH..... put her back down and walk away.

This is what I did. Put the palm of your hand on her tounge and warp the rest of your hand around the bottom of her mouth. Or You can slap her nose! Dogs know to Stop when you slap them in the nose!

it's pretty simple, actually. your puppy is just going through a teething phase that will not continue when he/she matures. just wait it out, but you could try spraying it with a spray bottle or scolding it in a harsh voice when it bites you.
