My family has been driving me crazy,especially since I got my car. Our apartment is too crowded. It's my mom,me,my 2 sisters and each of their two kids in a 2 bdrm apt. They make noise and constantly come in the room when I'm trying to sleep.I just got a car. I don't mind driving them places sometimes, but they don't know how to give it a rest.I work weekday nights and am off the weekends. But I get no rest because I'm always taking them somewhere during the day, they call me on lunchbreak at work to take them somewhere, when I get off work at midnight they still want me to take them somewhere. They want me to take them places on the weekend when I'm off work, and watch their kids on the weekends too. I have 2 pick up and drop my mom off everyday, even when she makes PLENTY of $ to get her car fixed or get a new one.I want to move out but it's going to take a while. Dont get me wrong I love all of them to DEATH, but it's gotten to where I'm about to live in my car so I can save 4 apt

I've tried telling them how I feel, but they dont listen or understand.I am starting to resent all of them, and I think it would be best if I moved out..But everytime I try to save up for an apt, something comes up. So, I'm about to live in my car for about 2 mos, and it'll really help me save up.

No u r not wrong if they are driving crazy maybe talk to ur parents and they will work things out with you. If not consider moving out!

This is a difficult situation and I feel for you.
Since you are living under your parent or parents roof it is difficult but you need to help out. That does not mean to become the family Taxi.
I would not answer the phone when they call to have you take them somewhere. Tell them their constant calling is causing you trouble at work and with your boss. They are cracking down on personal phone calls.If it is your office phone that they are calling on tell them you can't talk boss is coming.
When you get off work, you simply tell them No and move on don't wait for a reply.If they keep insisting, then you in a firm and clear voice inofrm them that things are changing around here. You have already given them an answer, the answer was "NO". Your not going to change that answer and if they do not leave you alone and walk away,that they have overstepped their boundaries and now nolonger will have the previlage to ride anywhere in the car. so make plans of walking to their friends house next time around. Stand firm and do not give in to just shut them up.
Sounds like you are a push over and they know it. You need to be strong willed and not afraid to say "No I'm tired from work and can't see well to drive, or Sorry,I have an Plans or an appointment with someone." Maybe next time.
Have plans for the weekend ahead of time and don't be available even if it means, going to a park, beach, movies, bookstores, friends house anywhere but there.
I personally would be looking for a second part time job to save enough to get out in order to keep your sanity.
Ask around and find a possible roommate where you work or a friend to share an apt. with. Sometimes parents of college age kids have an extra room they are willing to rent out.

They seriously need to understnad that you need your rest just as well as everyone else gets. If you dont get out your all going to end up in a huge battle and not be talking at all. You dont have a friend that you could live with? Or find a cheap studio or anything? And I can believe how you guys can all fit in a 2 bedroom Apt!! Thats crazy! ya, you really need to get out.. Let me see, you own a car so that means that you are and adult. You work and have respondilities, pay you bills, go to work on time, and act the the parent of the house, just like and adult. My advise to you is to woman up.
Woman up! Do not allow anyone in life to take advantage of you. When you say that you are not going to take then to this place of the other because you are tired. Woman up and stick to your guns. Do not take them. One of the hardness things in life is to stand up to family members. I know I have been there. There comes a time when you must grow up and stand on your own two feet. That goes for your faamily members too. You do not owe them anything. Woman up and Do you.

It sounds to me as if they are taking advantage of you and they do not respect you very well the best thing I would advise is for you to save some money out of your checks when you can get a reasonable deposit and find you a nice apartment or house because they don't give a damn about you all they care about is what you can do for them and it is going to continue as long as you take it.

Moving out is a good idea. Maybe living in your car is what you should do. I know a few people who were homeless for a while[completely homeless, as in without a car or anything] and they learned to appreciate what they have more[not that I'm saying your an ingrate]. It's a good life lesson.

It sounds like you are a push over. Sorry to say it so blatantly. You say your mom has the money to fix her car yet she takes advantage of you. Ask her for gas money unless you are not paying rent.
You just need to stand up and say "NO". I love my relatives but could not stand living with them. Everybody needs their space. You really need to move out. Weather you live with roommates or get your own apartment you need out of there.
It seems as though they take you for granted. You will end up weak and broken if you don't get out and on your own.

Better sell your car because it's the main problem that I see...so that you'll have yourself a good weekend rest...and regarding the noise...you must have your room insulated to keep noise coming in...or else put an earphone on your ear and hear music of your favorite to keep away those noises..

No you're not wrong. If they want rides from you, tell them your car takes gas like anyone else's and they need to pay for gas. If they refuse, they can walk or call a cab. Tell them you didn't bring them kids into the world and they can watch their kids themselves.

Keep driving your mom, but tell your lazy sisters no. They have no business living off your mom anyway. They got around before you had a car, they can get around afterwards.
