I am switching from Innova Evo to regular Innova food. Should I mix them, or would it be okay if I didn't mix them, because they're the same brand?

Mixing them together would be the best thing to do. Start out by adding just a little bit of the new stuff and gradually adding more new and less old over the next couple of weeks. This prevents the cat from getting sick. Good luck

I would say mix it. A sudden change in diet can upset an animals stomach. Start by adding a little of the new brand to his food, then slowly work the dosage up until he/shes eating all Innova. Best thing for your cat, even if it sounds like a lot of work.

I think you should mix it. Just becuase they're the same brand it does't really mean they have the same ingredients. First you should mix only a very tiny bit of the new food. Give the same amount the next day, and give a little more the day after that. Chances are the cat won't notice (or mind). When you have the desired amount of the new food then stop. I think you should mix the foods because like humans, cats like variety.

Definately mix food, switching from one food to the other over about a week. First use mainly the old food in larger proportion to the new, like 3/4 old food & 1/4 new for a couple days, then 1/2 & 1/2 for a couple days, then 3/4 new & 1/4 old for a few days, then all new food. It can upset their digestive system to switch foods too quickly, especially if going from an expensive high quality food to a cheap one.

It's always best to mix in the new food with the old if your thinking of changing types. As they are the same brand it might not make any difference but to take any chance away from upsetting your cats stomach mix it for a while. Best to be safe.

You should mix them for a while then less and less of the old in the mix and more of the new. After a while, just use the new brand and your cat won't even notice the change!

Yes, mix them, and gradually use more and more of the new food than the old, until you totally use the new.
Good luck!

No, you don't need to but it's always best to be on the safe side and mix it. Some cats have very sensitive tummys and any little change can affect them.

Take about a week to slowly switch to new foods. This should help avoid intestinal upsets.

Yes, it is ok because I switch my cat's old and new food all the time and she can't tell the diffrence.
