lettuce or greens even pieces of apple. I tried giving him hard boiled egg but he wouldn`t eat it .also boiled potato seems to be a favorite.you offer it to them but they usually check it out before starting to eat it so offer it serval days also crackers .don`t forget to give him vitamins in his water..any greens are ok for a cockteil can offer cooked corn and carrots
