I was in a coma for 8 days in May 2005. I was on a lot of medications to make me be in the coma because of a lung problem. I thought I was on the Pope 's air plane and was flying around picking up sick people. I also thought my son was in danger. They tell me they had the TV on the new channel all the time I was in the coma. They selected a new Pope and there was some kids killed during my coma. So I would say your brain obviously does something. I didn't see it as a dream cause when I woke up, I still thought I was on the plane for several days. Of course they also had me on this air bed that could make it feel like a plane was turning.

most people that have come out of coma report no memory of dreams. Interestingly enough tho, they do remember things that people said while with them and they were in coma.
