I believe more people are "developing" asthma because we classify more people with it and less people go out and excersize. I am diagnosed with mild asthma technically but I have absolutely no problems because I was involved in a number of competitive sports as a child. My lung capacity is huge so it's not a big deal. Get your kids out of the house, their health will be a reward.

Are there any? Have any studies been done?

Certain shifts in climate could result in fewer cases of asthma for all we know. Others might increase it, others would have no effect at all.

Of course determining whether or not global warming was involved in those particular changes would be another task.... Many many factors affect climate, not just one.

As the first guy pointed out, diet and exercise as well as local environmental changes (like what chemicals are in the water or being used to paint & insulate buildings) will greatly impact the number of asthma cases. And don't forget ash in the air from forest fires & volcanic activity, the amount of plain old smog from factories and cars, etc.

Global warming probably hasn't caused any more cases it is diet, exercise and pollution. Non-dairy users seem to have less problems with asthma.

Due too global warming we have less oxygen in the air, causing more resp problems for people with breathing difficulty. The more trees we cut down without planing new ones will increase this problem and we need to find cleaner fuels to burn..............................
