Do companies and banks realize who they are trying to advertise to when their ads air during daytime television?

I understand that they want the general public to start thinking of their environmental destruction as "building for tomorrow" and their outsourcing of jobs as "building a global network" but these people will never have any influence on them anyway because people don't even know that things exist outside of Wal-Mart.

Not a big Jerry fan, btw... just thought I'd make that clear.
He should stick to political satire and not degrade the human race with that awful show of his.

I think that if you and the other Jerry Springer fans would be willing to pay $50 each to watch each episode, you could see it commercial free.

No? Well, ads pay the revenue, then.
