and shouldn't the true facts about Jesus and his wife have been made public many years ago. Why do some people want the cover-up to continue?

Very little is mentioned (in the Bible, or in history) about the life of Jesus inbetween His birth and His death.
"They" say that in the Jewish tradition, Jesus would have been expected to marry and have children--and there is no proof as to whether or not He did.
Which pope was it that cried before dying--something about keeping a very big secret--no one knows what that secret might have been. It would be extremely difficult for the Catholic faith (having always kept women in the background--and priests not being allowed to marry), if Jesus had, in fact, been married--much more so than for the Protestants (whose ministers/pastors can and do marry).

The facts are if Jesus Christ was married to Mary Magdalene Peter would have told us in the gospels, because Peter was married. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John had plenty of chances to tell us. Why if Jesus was married did He only mention His mother Mary while hanging from the cross? Jesus never married anyone. Dan Brown is mocking and missing a conscience.

True facts about Jesus are not found in a fiction book written by Dan Brown. He and the people who made the movie all admit that it is a fabricated story.
I suppose you believe that we never landed on the moon, but instead that was filmed in a Hollywood studio also eh?

Jesus is married to the church not a woman. Davinci code spreads lies. The painting was of Jesus and His disciples. They painted men in a feminine way back then. Get over it already. It was a disciple in the p-a-i-n-t-i-n-g.

If I can see some proof of this in old biblical writings, then I will believe this. Until then, I do not. Besides, the movie is fictional.

I LOVE THIS QUESTION. There are MANY books of the bible that were omitted because they were afraid that it would promote imorality. A shame really because so many people live by a book and THEY dont even have all the facts.
