Democrat Politicians have committed treason to the United States as " adhering to (our) enemies, giving them aid and comfort. Harry Reid, Nancy Polosi, Dick Durbin, and John Murtha, amongst others, are gulity of exactly that. When a government official stands on the floor of congress and declares the war lost; or travels to Syria, a state-sponsor of terror, and meets with the leadership that is funneling insurgents into Iraq to kill Americans soldiers; or, publicly compares our military men and women to Nazis, it's just not the Democrats that have betrayed our men and women in uniform, it's also many on the left. the best ally that Al Qaeda has these days is the Democrat Party leadership. It's reprehensible.

Let me put this so you can understand, our soldiers have died in Iraq because the Democrat Leaders have been helping the enemy, can you comprehend this? I know it's hard for you, but use your brain to think. Not only will tension escalate in the region but we would be handing over Iraq to Iran and al Qaeda. Is that what we want to deal with down the road? If the Democrats think Iraq is a mess, how are they going to deal with the scenario? The left was very successful wiping their hands clean of their involvement in what happen in Vietnam. I don't see them getting away with this again.

don45123, these men and women soldiers have joined the military of there own free will to protect not only the U.S.A, but other countries as well. This is what soldiers are trained for, and they know this when they go into the military. Now military is a place where men and women train for combat, this isn't a play ground as you well know. This isn't a place to get free money or education. (Casey), Cindy Sheehan's son knew this as well since he did re enlist on his own. Don't feel bad for these men and women, they don't want your pity!

Let's all think back to a better time. 1941 F.D.R. was a democrat. He got us into WWII by putting sanctions against Japan. Then He had the brains to let the military fight the war with a no holds barred plan. This nations politicians haven't had the cajones to do that since. Look at Korea, Another democrat got us in that one. Viet Nam another democrat, another draw. Now here we are in Iraq. Lets start with Bush SR. He should have finished what he started. Then we have Clinton. The sorriest president That ever crapped between a pair of shoe's. He gutted the military, Made a mockery of the highest office He was offered the opportunity to get Osama. and wouldn't do it. Now we have Bush the 2nd. He went after Saddam & Iraq for the 911 fieasco .He cant make a move without the Democrats ripping him apart, And all the left wing " lets hug a sand rat" sceptic's screaming .Let's quit ,let's quit. It would'nt matter if there was one soldier or 4000 killed , They would still turn tail and run. I do support the troops, YES . My son is in the army and did one tour in the cat box. He will be going back soon. I do not support the way the war is being handled. GET THE POLITICIONS OUT. Let the military fight an all out war. Forget about collateral damage and world opinion. Dont make our soldiers die for their country ,Make the enemy die for their country. If need be kill them all ,Let ALLA sort out the good ones. Now for atrocities. Do I care if an amercian soldier beats up a towel head? Hell no. Do I care if a Marine double tap's a wounded sand rat Hell no. I belive in the word of god . DO UNTO OTHERS AS THEY WOULD DO UNTO YOU. Iraq is not the U.S.A. There is no Miranda law in Bagdad. Get the Information any way you can If it will save your life. I believe we should fight Al Quida on their terms and in the same manner they do. Stop worring about how many innocent's are killed. That is what is getting our people killed . Abigail , Carry on my dear. YOU ARE`RIGHT.

Here's a novel thought--did you ever think that democrats and republicans sleep in the same bed?
President Bush (a republican) decided that we needed to invade Iraq. For what reasons? Oil!!!!!!!!! However, he isn't the only one to blame.
Congress (both dems and republicans) are to blame. Both parties are hand picked so to blame this mess on one party is just pointing fingers.
In case you haven't noticed, that is what this is all about. Pointing fingers at each other so that we lose sight of the real issue.
Let's take the murder of JFK. So many people sit back and try to figure out who killed him instead of asking the more important question--WHY did they kill him? Let me repeat that--WHY, WHY, WHY did they kill him?
Why do you think we have the politicians in office that we have now? Ask yourself that question and do some research and you'll find that the democrats in office now are probably republicans underneath.
Here's a great example. I live in Virginia and Senator Webb unseated Senator Allen. Webb is a democrat (or so he says) yet he was Secretary of the Navy under President Reagen.
Is he a democrat? I don't think so.
Regardless of whether one is a democrat or republican, don't you think it's time we demand of our leadership to be accountable to us? After all, the constitution says the government is suppose to be of the people, for the people and by the people.
Also, don't forget that we should only be fighting wars when we were invaded. Iraq never posed a threat to us. We were the ones who posed the threat to Iraq. We invaded them without cause.
What was the reason we invaded them? We were told they had weapons of mass destruction. Did we find any? No! Now we are told we must stablilize Iraq.
Here's the funny thing--we give billions of dollars to Israel annually and they seem to do just fine fighting their enemies without a major presence of the U.S. being there. Why do we need to have a major presence in Iraq?
It's all about the oil and that will always be the case.

I really hate that the Republican party has managed to market anti-war with anti-troop idealogy....they are very 2 different things. You can be against the war yet still be supportive of the troops. The Republican party has very wisely tied the 2 together so it makes ANYONE who dares speak out against the war look treasonous which is absolutely rediculous. This strategy was also imployed just after 9/11 when the Bush administration wanted all politicians to do what they wanted BLINDLY without question and without hesitation. Anyone who DARED question anything Bush or his administration came out with knew they'd be faced with "oooh, ok, so you're on the side of evil then?" No - it's not that black and white stupid and any THINKING American who blindly goes along with something out of fear of being called unpatriotic is an idiot. America is great because people CAN question their leaders, their congress, and its actions.

The Democrats "support" the soldiers, yet they cut the funding for them, say that the US cannot win the War in Iraq, and want the US to pull out of Iraq to let the terrorists roam free.
What kind of support is that?!?!

I won't go so far as to say that Reid, Pelosi, Durbin, and Murtha have betrayed our troops, but I will say that they have undermined them and our mission in Iraq, in particular, and terrorism, in general.
They may have the best interests of our young men and women foremost in their hearts, but they have little comprehension of just how dangerous the jihadist enemy is .
One can argue til kingdom come about Iraq not having ties to 9-11, but the fact is that Saddam Husein was a megalomaniac hell bent on killing anyone who prevented him from getting his way. He was more than willing to sell parcel to al Qaeda to set up terrorist camps in the vast Iraqi desert.
That makes him a conspirator with terrorism.

I respectfully disagree with your positions. This was a war based upon a series of lies, managed badly by the Esteemed Mr. Bush, Cheney & Rumsfeld who had the advice of generals on how to prosecute the war, but instead elected to use their own plan for too few troops and without and knowledge of history or plan for the postwar operations.
It is not the Democrats who have failed here, it is the NeoCon's who don't have a bunny's idea as to how to manage the government or their elective war.

Abigail! ABIGAIL!! It's time for your medication and a nap.
If US troops are Nazis, then that would make Bush HITLER!!! The Nazi stamp won't stick, but the Hitler stamp sticks like liquid nails wrapped in 200mph tape.
Ask a QUESTION the next time....and never smoke crack while typing. Bush (Hitler) lied, and troops CONTINUE to die. He should put his crack pipe to rest also.
We need MORE Democrats like the ones you named, AND some more Republicans that aren't 'team players' to put 'Hitler' in check.
