There is only one who is perfect, and the way we can become what he wants for us is to follow him.
If you mirror what your perfect master teaches you, not only will you find fufillment in this life, you will be "as close as you can get" to " the Perfection that is G-d".
With him all things are possible.
His TRUTH is THE TRUTH, and he asks you to follow for your own benefit. Out of LOVE.
Not to enslave and use you like the Evil One that many more people are familiar with in this world.

We were made is 'his' image and this is the reason why we were all made perfect? After all he created Adam and Eve and gave them free will! His creations proved at this point to be perfect.

We are imperfect BECAUSE Adam and Eve sinned. It was because of satan taking form of the serpent and deceiving Eve into eat ting the forbidden fruit. So God's creation had help becoming imperfect.

Why the "IF"? Imperfection is in the carnal man not the man or woman who has been reborn by the Holy Spirit of God. We were created in Elohim's image. Elohim is male and female in one. For some reason, the creator(s) split humankind into two sexes (and notice that everything, and I mean everything, in our reality is polar in nature), which is what creates the imperfection.
The drive for perfection is the drive for Oneness. We are god. We are god, separated from itself. God wants to be One again. This is why opposites attract. This is why men need women and women need men. This is why balance is critical in all aspects of life.

image is the spiriual not the physial as in the soul. Free will is what God gives us to seperate us from being as robots. He wants our love but love is no good if forced therefore he allows us to chose. our imperfection is our fault as mankind for not obeying God.

Consider the interpretation that the word "Image" means the Spirit of God. We all were created with the Spirit of God, and have the Spirit of God within us. In the beginning was the word " Spirit " and the Spirit was God. All things were made by him.

You do not understand what " God created us in His image" means.It is as simple as we know right from wrong. He would not have given us the privilege of free will if He did not give His Moral Law to our souls first.

no his creations are imperfect by sin and it doesnt mean we look like him! we have emotions just as he does we love just as he does and we cry just as he does! so we are in his image of our soul not our body
