Nope. Medical advice and suggestions given here are merely opinions. I try to give factual reply; properly documented and research as well as derived from my vast nursing experience. as well as my own personal experience. However, all information on the subject matter can be obtained by the askers themselves on their own volition and initiative. Some people should be truly grateful for this solicitated and valuable tidbits of info.

seriously, come on. none of the people answering questions on here have enough of your medical information to give you advice on any medical condition. these are all opinions and anything that you do tht could affect your health should always be consulted with by your doctor. why would you take a strangers advice about your health without asking a doctor? really how old are you? like 10??

NO. It's always your responsibility to be knowledgeable about your own problems or condition. You take any ones "advice" with a grain of salt, never blindly ! Many of us are medical professionals, and will give sound, accurate advice, most of us do refer you to other websites or will disclose our sources of medical facts etc. Even if you went to a MD and gotten advice, how could you prove that you did EXACTLY what he said ? You can't. Sometimes people will take advice from someone who just agrees with the asker,or the one who has the easiest way out of your problem. That's never a good thing. Take care. SW RNP

Any information here is an opinion, for education and guidance. Even a doctor posting here cannot offer a diagnosis, treatment or cure for any condition. Anyone who is not a licensed medical professional cannot provide any form of diagnosis so suggestions are just an opinion and do not take the place of proper medical care.

No. If you could sue people for bad advise (that you didn't pay for) our legal system would be brought to its knees. By the way, advise is just that. It can be very wrong. Haven't you ever seen that commercial where the guy calls his brother and asks him what he should say to a girl he likes. His brother tells him what to say and says "it works every time little bro" The boy takes the advise and the girl throws food in his face.

Nope. Read the fine print. Yahoo has a nifty disclaimer that they cannot promise the accuracy of any answers and u are fully liable for them if u take them. This is a place for suggestion, venting, ideas--not a medical diagnosis. thats why u have to PAY for a PROFESSIONAL. We just offer help and ideas before u go t a doc.

my suggestion is that if you are willing to take joe schmoes advice on here vs. seeking proper medical attention then you get what you deserve... are any of these people dr's yeah sure maybe a few on here... but you cant believe every thing you read and hear... i can see getting some suggestions on the problem/illess you are having and going to a dr. with those... but if your too addicted to the computer to where you cant pull your *** from YA then you need a psychologist too... and no you can't sue someone on here for that... its ridiculous to even think that!

No, it's merely advice we offer, we cannot possibly make a diagnosis of your condition. You should always follow your doctor's instructions.
