A healthy indoor cat can live up to 20 years of age. That's pretty rare. The average life span for an indoor cat is around 15 years. You need to make sure he remains healthy by taking him to the vet at least once a year. Good luck

Average is about 15-18 years. Mine was indoor/outdoor for the first 4 years of his life (a stray for approx. the first 2) and after a run-in with a neighbors dog was indoor from then on. He passed away last year at 22 years old and the vet said the only thing "wrong" with him was his age!

I have a healthy, neutered, indoor/outdoor, vaccinated cat who will be 16 years old in Oct. He weighs about 12 pounds and the vet said he is very healthy. It is possible for him to live to be 20 or more years, as long as I keep his vaccinations up-to-date.

The same as a healthy, neutered, male, sometimes outdoors cat, but not as long as a healthy, neutered, male, vaccinated cat: at least 15 years, hopefully towards 20.
