I've never really been able to fully enjoy myself when doing certain things, such as going to hang out with certain friends. If I'm excited about doing something, or wanting to do something but restricted by other means, I start to feel extremely ill.

Right now I'm feeling ill but I don't have any plans to go anywhere except my fathers house in a couple of hours. What happens is my heart feels almost like it's an abnormal beat, I get very tense, and my stomach starts to hurt, almost like it's digesting faster, this always results in frequent trips to the bathroom.

The problem is when this happens and I'm driving somewhere, I almost feel like it could be dangerous because I tend to get shaky, I almost feel nervous, and get shivers constantly. The problem is extraordinarily worse when it's cold out. I shake so much I can barely hold onto the steering wheel. It's not normal chilly shivers though, because no one else is really that cold while I'm shaking like no other.

Thanks in advance

It sounds as if this could be an anxiety attack, but your symptoms seem fairly severe and possibly dangerous. Your symptoms also resemble a blood sugar problem! As always the VERY best thing to do is to consult your primary care Dr. for either treatment or a referral to a specialist. My heart goes out to you as this must be very frustrating and frightening. Please see your Dr. as soon as possible for you own best interest! By ALL means try not to drive under these conditions not only for your own safety but that of others on the road! I wish you the best of luck and God bless.

It's a sign of a physical problem, like a warning bell. A lot of physical problems have anxiety as a symptom-- iron deficiency, lack of proper nutrients, poor muscle tone, hyperthyroid, etc. After a while, your brain mistakenly associates the feelings with the event or situation.
