Well technically they could if they wanted to but you will find cats can be pretty fussy and stick to their plain water and milk/cream ect when they can get at it. Milk products actually are not good for them though and there would be no nutritional value in drinking pop either, besides they probably would not like the spizzy taste.

I wouldn't think so. But whenever I have a glass of ice tea, my cats always seem to want to drink it, if the drink is left unattended they will drink it. But I've never seen them go crazy because of it. But then again, it's not soda.

Why would they want to? I don't know what you mean by "stuff", but cats need cat food for proper nutrition. You can give him other "stuff" as a treat. Don't give them milk because most cats are lactose intolerant and they will get diarrhea. Don't give them onions either, because they're poisonous for cats. I know for sure that Mexican food gives them gas!

My cat has drank Mt. Dew here and there since she was a kitten and she's 4 yrs old and still healthy as can be. Sugar isnt as good for animals as it is for humans but it wont kill them.
Just like a kid who eats too much icecream gets a tummy ache, if cats have too much sugar, they will get sick too.

Its not gonna kill your cat, but you should probably stick to water.
My kitty also loves soymilk-try that! :D

Dr. Pepper has prune juice in it, and prune juice is a natural laxative! Yes, you can give it to them, but after you give it to them, well you should know what is going to happen next with out me spelling it out for you! The label says natural flavors and the natural flavor is prune juice!

No, the sugar will do it no good whatsoever. Cats should just drink water.

the amount of sugar and calories would probably result in diabetes in a short time if given regularly.

Why would you want to do that to your poor cat anyway?

Suggestion, DON'T DO IT!

No, the only things cats should drink is water, and a little bit of milk!

Dr. Pepper actually does NOT have prune juice in it but it is still no good for animals.

Stick to fresh water!
