Well bad credit may or may not prevent you from getting a *government* loan. You just have to apply and see what they say. Otherwise, you may have to go back 1 class at a time if that's all you can afford. But it will be worth it either way you go!

Good Luck!

I don't have great credit either, but I am currently receiving student loans to pay for my tuition. Just fill out the FAFSA to get started, and be sure to have it sent to all of the schools that you are interested in. As soon as the FAFSA is received at the schools they will let you know what you qualify for, you may even be able to get grants. Also, be sure to stay on top of them so they process your paperwork! Apply soon. Hope this helps. Good luck in school! :)

If you are an independent student(not living with Mom and dad) you might be able to get a stafford loan, which is a need based, not credit based, loan.
Go to www.fafsa.gov.ed and fill one out, it will apply you for a pell grant(which does not have to be repaid.)
If you are a dependent student, you parents income will be a factor in what aid you receive.

Assuming you're in the US... You're in luck! Unless you're over the aggregate limit (which would be difficult if you don't have a degree already and are not a US citizen, you can apply for federal financial aid by looking at fafsa.ed.gov.

If you're looking at working full time look at a school which is accredited, and if possibly, programmatically accredited, and get started.

Some programs allow you to work full time while going to school. I have a few friends who did that at University of Phoenix (campus location, but they do have online as well).

Look at your options!

Good luck!
