Be careful of Mario above me clearly he's involved in selling some pyramid scam (just look at his recent answers).

I'm sorry to say that 14 is too young to be hired by most companies federal law has strict standards and without some massive exception 14 is not a workable age.

Now I do have a suggestion, try calling your local animal clinics vets offices humane societies and ask if they could arrange something for you, it may be paid under the table or volunteer work but if you got some experience this year, think how helpful that would be in finding some employment next year. Good luck.

I have a neice who like you, wants to work with animals as a career. She started out last year working at Pet Smart. She works with the animals that people bring in for housing while they are away. Maybe something like that can help you get started, and give you a start in caring for animals. Or, if you have a veterinarian in town, maybe you could talk to them and see if they will take you on as a trainee....it's just a thought.

The Monster and Career Builder sites are geared more for people just out of high school or college, and older....at least that is the impression I got when I did some job searching through them. Good luck - I hope you find what you need.

Employment websites aren't for teenagers. If you are interested in animals, go around to the local veterinarians and see if one of them will hire you to clean kennels and feed the animals. If not, try the local supermarkets.
