I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7, KJV)
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? (Amos 3:6, KJV)
Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? (Lamentations 3:38)
So, 100% of you will say that god gave us a choice between good (which you don't argue that god created) and evil (not good) which, inexplicably, you try to argue that god did not create.
Did god create the choice for us between good and evil? If so, then he had to create alternatives to choose from. Whether or not humans choose evil is irrelevant. The point is, god created the choice for us to make....good or evil.

Bombastic - when god gave us free will to choose, what were our options to choose from? Good and....what?
According to you, we had to create an option called evil. So, god didn't really give us a choice if there was no alternative to good....by definition.
Let's move on, shall we? Are there any other things that humans created in the universe? Since we are co-creators with god, do we have the power to bring forth other things?

bombastic - no, that wouldn't be when sin was created, that would be when it was first committed by humans. The creation would have taken place when Adam and Eve were given 2 alternatives: Good or Evil.

sianpu - yes, when it talks of evil in the city, that can be interpreted as calamity. The other examples are not interpreted as such. sorry.

Paulcyp - so, you too argue that we are co-creators with god. Interesting. I need to make this a question of it's own. However, I'd like to hear from you if you believe there is anything else that humans can bring forth in a godlike manner?

It's funny how the bible is god's word except when they don't like what he said or it doesn't fit into their own personal view.
They should change the name of the religion to Cherrypickians

God created the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Center of the Garden Genesis 3. But Man released evil by eating the forbidden fruit. You must get a newer bible because the newer translation make some of your quotes clearer like Lamentations 3:38 in my bible says
"Good and bad each happen at the command of the Lord most high" CEV, which tells me that god made and controls good and evil. About every ten years we get a new bible with better translations as we learn more about the ancient texts so get a newer Bible and you get a clearer picture of an interpretation of God's word.

God did not have to create evil in order to give us the choice between good and evil. I may give a child the choice to take a piece of candy, or not take one. I don't have to provide "no candy" in order for the child to make that choice. I only have to provide one thing - the candy. In the same way, God provided all that is good, and all that will bring us to eternal life. He gave us the right to choose what He offered, or to reject it. If no-one ever rejected what God offered, evil would not exist, since God offers us only that which He has created, all of which is good. Therefore, it it those who reject God's plan who create evil, not God. Evil means rejection of God's will. How could God create rejection of His own will??

Please read other versions of the Bible including the original languages.
You will see that the evil used in KJV will be calamity somewhere else. There is a great difference between those two terms in line with the context of what it says.
After all, God did not create evil. He just created the person but he became evil by his choice to rebel against God.

How about you about reading the whole bible( spend 15-30 minutes each day, and you'll be finished within a year) and really, begin from Exodus. I want you to understand the cruel, despotically -overpowering ,blood thirty being Yahweh is. I want you to read about what happened to the freed Israelites once Moses had been commanded by God to tell the Pharoah to liberate them. I want you carefully scrutinize this sonorous line-reiterated after almost every passage in the beginning of Exodus, "but I will harden Pharoah's heart, so that he will NOT let the people go" God ordered the Pharoah to let them go- so then why was he hardening the kings heart so that he will adamantly REFUSE to let them go? Not only did the Pharoah suffer, but the entire kingdom of Egypt suffered for what God intended( killed all the firstborn sons) I would especially like for you to carefully read the book of Job, to really get a more profound insight upon Yahweh's diabolical nature. Read upon what happens to Job, a noble God- fearing man from OZ who bore 10 children and cared for plenty of animals. Read and meticulously observe how God made a pact with Satan by unsuspectingly slaughtering all his children and animals- only to see if this respectable man would curse him once in return.
GO BACK TO EXODUS 20, THAT IS WHERE THE 10 COMMANDMENTS ARE:
Look at the second commandment:
“You shall not bow down to them or worship them for I, Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generations.”
How much more cruel and unjust could someone be than to punish a child or grandchild for something their father of grandfather did? That’s the height of Yahweh’s retributive conduct- still ignored and faded into oblivion by many.
To really comprehend the genuinely sadistic, insidious character of God, read Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Judges, and Job. Those books are extremely compelling. When the writers of the Bible composed it, recorded in black and white for all to see- you know they ultimately could not disguise the twisted, unconditionally malicious characteristics that Yahweh exhibits! It’s “God’s word”- and yet sown through the atrocities of an arrogant, self-serving maniacal despot!

Listen Jack, God did create evil in the sense that he created the possibilty of evil. It is man that makes the possibility of evil manifest itself . God has never done evil. nor does he want any one to choose evil. By our own free will we either love God, do good and reject evil, or we hate God, do evil , and reject good. You see Jack if God did not give us the choice , and made us all love him, then we would be nothing but robots. We love him because he first loved us! 1 John 4:19

When you sinned and did evil - was that God? Or was that you?
So really what is your point?
You are trying to prove that God is essentially evil, but you are essentially good?
Take comfort then in this one thing: "There is nothing that is hidden that will not be revealed, and there is nothing covered that will not be brought to light."
One of these days, God promises that every hidden thing about your life will be disclosed for the whole universe to see. Then if you have done right, you will be exonerated in that day. If not, you alone will bear the consequences, seeing as you have rejected God's offer of reconciliation in His Son, who was crucified for sinners.

God didn't create evil. When Adam and Eve took the fruit from the tree of knowledge than that opened or eyes to all evil, and everything else. Now if they hadn't...than it would be a perfect world.

The "horse's mouth" is from a King James version of the scriptures and while the 1st Bible translators have been translating, they have been then unaware of the "demanding" on the verbs in Hebrew that did not mean "to create" in a causitive experience. on the grounds that that element all of us be attentive to there are 2 different tenses of verbs interior the unique textual content fabric and this actual verse extra wisely worded could be: "I variety the gentle and allow darkness: I make peace and allow evil to exist; I the LORD do all thses issues. Now, in case you're dogmatic and demand to "teach your element" with what you have written fairly than settle for the information as i'm telling you, then persist with your weapons. What I certainly have shared with you IS the certainty. additionally, God does not create or condone evil and interior the e book of James (N.T)we are 'specifically advised that God is the 'father of lighting fixtures' and each stable and suitable present comes down from Him. i've got confidence there are extra human beings than me who be attentive to this certainty concerning the early translators not be attentive to or expertise all all of us be attentive to and understand now concerning the unique texts. Why do you may desire to make this indictment against God. he's "the solid guy"! Repeat this 10 cases: God=stable/gentle; devil/evil=undesirable/darkness, giggle
