Actually, yes. Most of these ministries advocate "secondary virginity" for people who have had sex, but regret it, and say you can try again until marriage. Which is an excellent substitute for regular gyno checkups, isn't it?

I think it would be ok to wear it even if you're not a virgin. Are you talking about the True Love Waits ring? If so, that is basically saying that you're vowing to wait until marriage, which anyone can do, either virgin or not. It's not deceptive, unless of course someone becomes interested in you and you never tell them that you're not a virgin, if you just leave that little fact out. But would you wear it for other people to see, or to remind yourself of what your morals are?

No, i could say the crowning fulfillment of Christianity may be the tens of millions of folk it has reached by way of the years and the various countries it has impacted such because of fact the Samaritan's handbag software that brings food and garments to the various international's maximum downtrodden, to not point out each and all the helpful courses that community church homes supply to the communities alongside with homeless outreach(food on wheels), bothered youth outreach, and to not ignore the shelter regulation that facilitates women who will not be able to exact take care of a teen to depart it at a church so as that the youngster has a greater helpful hazard at existence. huge Bang: If Atheist perverts weren't infiltrating the church then the subject of monks doing that doesn't take place, please ask the fake instructors to give up this undesirable act, they surely are not Christians.

i believe that they can still wear the ring as a symbol of abstinence. They are not virgins but "born again" virgins. They are suppossed to make a promise to theirselves and God that they will abstain from sex until marriage. I guess it is slightly deceptive, but that is their choice.

No, it's not deceptive!! I am not sure who makes all the rules here regarding the 's.r.t.", but if your decision is for real and you are trusting God to help you remain celebate before marriage now; that is what the "silver ring thing" is all about. You don't owe the story of your "past sins" to anyone but Jesus and that in confession of your sin and to ask for forgiveness! When you ask, it is done. Then tell Him you will take His beautiful forgiveness and use it to forgive yourself! Amen?
Also, you can tell the Lord Jesus, "now that I am forgiven, I call back to myself every part of me that I gave away or that was stolen from me", and "I send back to _______ (may have to make a list before you start your prayer) all and every part of him that was deposited into me, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.., and I bless each and every one that I sinned with and against by praying to YOU Lord that they come to repentance also, and say, "I BREAK those sexual and soul ties between us forever." I ask YOU LORD JESUS to fill up my spirit and soul, mind and heart with YOU and You alone. You bring to me my husband and until you do, I will truly BE a virgin again for you and the man you have already chosen to love me forever, that I may love and marry.
Hope to hear on this forum what a great help this was/is!!
Burn your list!! amd see the list in your mind being nailed to the cross of Jesus Christ.., dead forever!!
Wonderful question!!

I'd say don't, same as a non-virgin wearing a white dress at her wedding. I say it's inappropriate for someone to represent theirself as something they're not.

Of course they could wear it. It is about the commitment, not about the failures. Jesus is all about Forgiveness.
