Convince you to have faith in God? I would never try that,why should I. If Christ wants you believe me, he makes away. It is all about him and what he does for you....he has his own way of getting his point across. You have heard it many times before yet you have ignored it! I betcha I can't either,I do not have too. God does it ,he needs know help,if he wants you you will come,by hook or by crook. You will come ask Saul before he became Paul. Ask Jona when he ran from God and was in a whale 3 days. Ask Jeremiah when he said I am a man of unclean lips and I live with a people with unclean lips. Yet God called and God uses.

Science can't explain how something comes from nothing. Also, there is no way that anyone other than God himself could have written the bible. Have you heard about all the bible codes dude. I've seen crazy ones that only computers, (yeah, last timed I checked Jesus wasn't carrying a laptop), could only figure out. One of them for example, I already posted it to someone else:
In the bible where they say calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of man, 666. Starting from the book of revelations, every 666th letter spells out Satan The Accuser.
Tell me that's not suspicious.

Being a fellow atheist, it's really dissapointing to see another non-believer provoking religious people. Atheists in the United States have a particularly bad reputation because only about 10% (give or take) of the population is agnostic or atheist. The best way to gain more respect for your beliefs isn't to blatantly provoke religious argument- it only reflects badly on the people who respect others' belief in a higher power. Please consider carefully the reputation you're creating for atheists. :-]

You can't convince anyone to believe who 1.) insn't asking in earnest, who doesn't really want to be convinced or learn the truth and 2.) who is just asking to get people rialed up & to cause waves and 3.) who has their heels dug in, as you seem to, that there is no God.

Maybe I cant. But consider something as small as a cell. How does it work, who designed it to work that way? Or consider the stars, how did they get there? How did we get here on earth, and have everything that we do and have it work the way it does. To me, the only logical explanation is God.
