It depends on the person and the length of relationship. I was with someone for 3 years and towards the end I realized he wasn't for me. But almost a year later its still hard trying to get over it all. You think about the good times and ti makes you happy, and then you think about the bad times and it makes you want to go awol upside someone's head. Time is a beast, but Im sure it will get out of my system.

It depends on how long you were with him. Some believe it's half the time you were with him. So if it was 3 years, then it will take 1 1/2 years to get over him. With me, it took one year after living together for 3. But, now I look back and see how wrong we were for each other and I am so thankful we never got married. It just wasn't meant to be. It's hard to realize that at first. It will take time.

It depends on how much he meant to me or for how long the relationship lasted..I was dumped in Feb. by someone I really loved I cried for a month straight then I thought I was totally over him but I know I'm not..I still think about him..just with less pain now

This is wildly different as people have different natures and backgrounds. Age is a factor also. Advice rebound fast, it takes the sting off. And do concentrate on other areas of life. Thats the best thing to get ahead in other areas, education, hobbies, traveling. Life is so short, that a secret from someones thats lived.

When I was dumped, it took me 5 months until, I started liking other people. You should only start dating again after you have been dumped, if you are sure that the person you are looking at now, is the one for you. Thats how I am with my boyfriend now.

To truely get over a man... it is half the time you were together.
That doesn't mean that if you dated for a year, that you won't move on for six months. Just means that it should take that long to really truly get over the whole relationship.

It really depends on how the relationship was and how much the girl loved him. I've known some girls who didn't get over there ex for a year or so. Then there's some who can get over it like the relationship never even happened.

maybe about 2 or 3 months.
for this one guy i went out with for a short time i really liked him and it took me about three or four motnhs.
my current bf...well if we broke up i would be so depressed for months since we've been together soo long and i tell him a lot of things like he's a best friend also. so i'd be veryyyy devestated.

Depends on how long and how much I cared for my ex. It would probably take half the time we dated to get over him if I really cared about him.

Each relationship has been different but the longest it took me once it ended was about a year & a half before I became involved with someone again.
