Would everyone like some cheese with their whine?
Good lord, you would think that this is the end of the world. Has any one really read what Nascar called them on? Evidently not, it seems that everyone read the headline stating that the 24 and 48 crews were caught with unapproved adjustments and everyone just ran with they cheated! Their cheaters! Kick them out of Nascar forever! I thought we were all adults, why are the majority of us acting like children?
If any one would have actually read any article about this you would have read that the car fit within the template parameters, however because this is a next gen race Nascar is very touchy about any and all modifications irregardless of whether those modifications fall within the template specs.
So before everyone goes off on who did what to this, me thinks some reading and understanding needs to be done.

I must have missed your conspiracy theory when Mikey got caught at the start of the year, and when Jr got busted a few weeks ago, and everyone in between... Do you think they cheat every week too? Obviously not right, because they are not winning every week. Why didnt nascar punish the 24 team when they made it rain at Pocono? I am sure you think that was cheating too...
I dont see how its cheating when the failed part is judged by someones eyes! Not a template! In fact I would not be surprised if they did not get punished as much for that exact same reason... however it sounds like they are going to come down harder on this than anything they have come down on before... Thats kind of odd, but for all you conspiracy theorist, here is your "Phantom debris yellow flag" so the rest of the field can catch up (in the points) to Jeff.
You wanted honesty, there it is... and heres a little more... he will still dominate this weekend

well well well another person that dont know racing what a suprise
1 they drive the car
2 they dont build the car
3 they wasnt even at the shop
4 they didnot race the modified car
come on get over it i would put money on it that everycar at the track was illigal in some form but since their the best team out there they get popped
heres something else atleast Chad Knaus admitted they did what they did unlike Eary JR come on how do you put on the wrong brackets when NASCAR told the what brackets to use so you should only have that bracket in your shop

Oh my God, Jeff & Jimmie were docked 100 points, but who is still #1 in points. So they were docked some points, but Jeff will rebound from this & still take the championship. NASCAR did what no driver this year has been able to do, lessen the point lead. I realize he has to pay but this ain't gonna slow him down. Face it your driver is not in first place in points so learn to deal with Jeff being at the top. The reason they have dominated this year is because, not by cheating because your drivers suck and Jeff & Jimmie are better.

If this rule infraction was with the COT, how has this type of cheating carried over to the regular car?I think they have won everything because there equipment is superior and so are their drivers. I'm surprised you retards haven't said Gordon has cheated his whole career and none of his 80 victories should count. This is one of the reasons Jr is going to HMS. Because they have superior equipment and it is the best place for anyone to win a race and win a championship. Dude, you obviously don't like these two drivers which is why you posted this. But retards like you need to realize that these are the drivers you should hate the least, because you are just setting yourself up for a bad day because they have such great results. Grow a freakin brain you dumbass and try to have an arguement next time. And just for the record, if you still consider this cheating, you should look back on the history of nascar because cheating has been a big part of it ever since it's inception and there have been much worse things than this.

If they do not do anything then there is a problem. Jr. got docked 100 points for having a bracket on the rear spoiler that they did not like. They better do they exact same thing to them as they did to Jr. 100 pt. and $100,000 fine and Gordon crew chief suspended for six races and Jimmie Johnson suspended for the year or even out of racing. Chad Knaus is a known cheater this is like the fourth or fifth time he cheated.

I don't believe they will be penalized as much as other cheaters - Larry McReynolds said himself that what they did wasn't cheating. With the old car, teams had a lot more freedom with the front of the car. Both Jimmie and Jeff's car's both fit the COT template. NASCAR didn't like how they looked. I don't believe they'll fine them as much - they already have bad starting positions and no one has won Infineon from the back. But I believe Gordon has a good chance, since he was third fastest in practice.
You have to admit these two teams are good at what they do - they know how far they can push the grey area without getting hurt too much. Other teams should learn from them.

Let me ask you something, Who builds the cars? The Chassis, Motor, and Fabrication builders, while the crew chief is involved also. So, how can you actually let yourself say something so embarrassing for you, when the driver has nothing to do with it? He gets out of Helicopter at track, drives car, races car, gets back on Helicopter or plane and goes home. So just when did he do this cheating?
Do yourself a favor, lose the habit of only being a single tasking thinker.
Now I have to ask alanfries you actually let yourself use that answer? Where's the weed from your smoking? I need to get some of that!!
So, Truex should have been involved with Jr. then? Please analyze and think about what your saying

Yeap as much as I like Hendricks motorsports. They cheated. When your on a road course with this many turns they use mostly the CAR fenders to bounce off the other cars when they need the room to pass.

Chad Knaus being busted for cheating is nothing new. It will probably take 30 more violations before NASCAR bans him from the sport.
