that makes sense, if they really believed in an all mighty god who was perfect, they wouldn't question so many of his children by judging them

Not! I question my belief to try to understand why I believe what I believe. God makes sense to me. I don't have all the answers but I have faith that He does and from what He has shown me throughout my walk with Him, I have NO reason to doubt He is who He says He is. The Great I AM, the Good Shepherd, almighty, all knowing and filled with forgiveness and unfailing love.

The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want.
He provides EVERYTHING I need.

Now why would I get thumbs down? I'm sharing what God has done in MY life. Whether you believe God exist or not is irrelevant to what has happened to ME. This is what makes me believe the way that I do. Some people / unbelievers especially are VERY judgmental and VERY unfair. They proclaim to want the exact opposite of what they give...acceptance, love and understanding.

There's not much hope to grasp onto these days, not to mention a stable friend who will never dissapoint or leave you. "Fundies" know that God is a rock in hard times and He gives peace to those who set their eyes on Him. There are many reasons to believe and not all believers are ignorant bigots. Not to mention that there is a real enemy that we battle against that is not flesh and blood-

Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Depression and suicide rates increase dramatically every generation, along with divorce. Christians know we are fighting an unseen enemy and the only way to win a battle is to be able to take a stand, if you can't see yourself losing, it's already over.

I think you are fundie atheist and you do not know any better.

I know something better, and I am happy for it. At least you have made your choice and God respects that choice of yours.

Maybe. Certainly some of their leaders don't seem to believe in any higher power than themselves.
