you could click the "start" button and find the program "Internet Explorer 7" and right click it and then select "Create Shortcut". If it isnt there, try downloading it again.

Open Windows Explorer
cl Programs
scroll down to Internet Explorer
on the right side you will see the icon for iexplore
right-click on it to create a shortcut
if it doesn't go to the desktop, cut it and paste it there

Go to Start > All Programs > right click on Internet Explorer > Send to > Desktop

Well you could make a shortcut and put it on your desktop by going to your local drive, most likely C:/, then program files,then Internet explorer. the application is there, and you can make a shortcut. I have IE7 and it worked for me!
