The Q- was about RDS and asking for those who could to pray..
MANY wonderful people did infact offer prayer- I thank all of you who do care as well!!!
The BABY is now home - THANK GOD!
He is much better..... Is still very tiiny (weighs 5lbs. 2oz.) But he already is a survivor! I give the GLORY TO GOD!
He answers prayer!
Thanks for all the input!
I read over the guidelines.
I never caught any part about not asking for prayer.. I see Qs asking for far worse.. I don't go around reporting....
I have a LIFE! I don't really want it to effect me that Y!A would be so blatently unethical to send VIOLATIONS.. JUst wanted your insight - THANKS!!!

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Yahoo referee system -- one of the most egregious creations on the face of the planet. On evidence, the referees have not the collective intelligence to break out of a cardboard box on a wet day. Just accept that stupidity will become evident here from time to time, just as it does in real life, and go on about your business.

Asking for information about the problem is one thing. Asking for prayer could be considered personal communication, but I would not have considered it to be a violation question since you also asked for information. The violators are usually the ones who just ask for prayers. They are not really asking a question that has an answer. Yahoo Answers does not allow that type of question. There have been questions tossed for similiar reasons such as "What am I eating now?" or "Will you say hi to me?".
The question was probably flagged for violation and it might have been quickly reviewed by a person who just saw the prayer request and did not really investigate the question. What is more likely, it was handled by a computer who algorythm saw the prayer request and went from there.
To avoid this in the future, just leave out the prayer request.

Did you ask your original question in (almost) all caps too? Using caps is generally considered yelling (and thus rude), so someone may have reported you for that.
Glad the baby is doing better now, I'm not religious (although of course I definitely wouldn't report someone for asking for prayers!) but I will send him a bundle of good wishes :)

Some little dweeb or troll didn't like the word prayer in your question. You see some people have no life so they decide to go around making ours miserable when they can. You gotta roll with the punches sweetie! Glad to hear the baby is better :)

If you read the guidelines it clearly states no spam or chat. That is what yahoo has a chatroom and messenger for. You clearly offended some, and was reported for abuse. Next time try a differant venue for that type of thing.

I got 15 points taken off me and my question removed for asking whether anybody had ever written to a death row inmate and if they had any problems with it, the reason being, that it was against other people's views. Sometimes the reasons are pretty pathetic. How is the baby anyway? I hope he/she gets better. I will pray for him/her. Best Wishes.

Sorry dear. Prayer requests are against the Y!A rules. Someone probably reported you for not adhering to the Community Guidelines...

Asking for prayer can be considered chatting. You did not ask a question. That is just the policy of Yahoo Answers. Sorry.

Yes it is ridiculous. Some people report and complain because they must think it is fun.
I have also been reported for some pretty stupid things.
Just ignore the Jack A$$'s
