Its been a long time since I've been to a graduation party, what are the normal amuonts given as gifts these days? Thanks

I think about $500 would do, but then my pockets are lined with cashmere, since my hands are so sensitive and prone to paper cuts from all the crisp hundies knotted up in my pockets!!

Not really though...25 to 50 is more than enough I'd say, hell I'd give 'em the classifieds in their card and tell 'em to get their a$$ to work...yeah I said it!

whatever you can afford to give. it's a gift, not an obligation. and i'm sure any amount of cash would be of use. yeah, if you gave 5 bucks, they might compare you to an aunt or a grandma, so, if considering the 'cool' factor, i'd guess at least 20 bucks would be appropriate.
