DO YOU KNOW ANY SUBSTITUTES? THEY HAVE TO BE THINGS THAT ARE VERY SIMILAR , THAT WOULD HAVE THE SAME EFFECT.

I don't understand why you can't eat different things..like try a pear instead of apples, black beans instead of kidney, oatmeal instead of all bran cereal, lowfat sugar free yogurt instead of the cottage cheese...etc. Just keep things in the same category, but different choices.
It's almost impossible to stick to a healthy diet when you eat the same thing all the time.

special K lol. I know it's hard to keep up a healthy diet. But the trick is it's not what you eat . But how much of it is consumed. So eat whatever just cut porsion sizes in half.

A narrow diet is not beneficial, though it's possible that your list above actually shows more diversity than what most people eat.
