Their little minds can't think of Quantum Physics.

They love this answer, "god did it."

Believing in a creator is not easy!
It's not a given at birth.
It's not an opposing factor at birth.

Man must see the actions and qualities of the creator
within others.
If man does not see these things at an early age then an item within man called the ego becomes deeply rooted and man becomes rigid and a state within man called faith becomes
difficult to attain.
Man is not loony (or ignorant) unless man has made a conscious decision to discontinue to find something that matters to them more than their own ego.

We are all on a sojourn called life (that which is between birth and death).
Let us all find the meaning to life. The answer is available!
Never give up the search....................

True, it's not for everybody. Besides, it's not easy to be a Christian in today's world (or any other time for that matter). Some people say they believe, but they still live the way non-believers do. True believers live by the word of God. Beleive=Live By. Remember it works both ways, many people think I am loony for believing.

Believing in a creator is far more simple and logical than denying it. If you saw a book, you're sure that it had an authour, a printer, a binder,...etc. Yet the whole universe is not enough to prove that it has a creator??!

It seems that people have gone crazy these days, and the answer for that is simple: we were not brought up well, we were not taught to know God nor do what pleases Him; rather we were told to concentrate in this world as best as we could; despite the fact that we are forced to leave it despite our willingness to stay.

Tough luck, Chuck!

I don't think any atheist is loony. Maybe some people are really just programmed differently, but I think most Christians and atheists alike would agree that what you do with your life is more important than what you believe.

Who thinks THAT? It is difficult to believe in a Creator. That's why we say that those who don't believe can't 'think outside the box'; they are stuck within the 'scientific method box'. Poor little frog - thinks the coconut shell it is under is the whole world and all there is to reality. Well, actually, Newton puts it slightly differently : little children playing on the beach, finding a shell here and there and marveling over it while the whole ocean is there yet to be explored.

i don't think it is easy at all. i can get your side about some things and sometimes i question myself on things. i don't think people look at everything when they choose to judge another for what they think...i was brought up catholic, there is not a thing i believe about that religion. so i kept searching for what i was looking for I'm now 33 i still have not found it. i believe in god, but i don't believe all that goes with it. I'm true to myself and that's it. i would never be a hypocrite and i would never fall to beliefs that were unrealistic..so your not believing in my god does not offend me, it intrigues me to learn more about why you feel that way and others too. i think as children we are programmed to think a certain way not just about religion , but love, hate, trust, morals, character, reliability, etc...if you are never taught to be open to other options then you will always remain close minded to truth and knowledge.

Because we start with a presupposition that is different from others when it comes to interpreting the world around us, a belief that we know has answered more questions for us than any other. The reason you see the world differently is because you have a different starting belief, a differing perspective, when seeing the world around you.

Because of this, I don't think others crazy for not believing in the Word of God; just human. It's hard for them to believe because it would require a complete change of perspective.

I understand that perfectly, because it was hard for me to change my own perspective. I continue to pray that non-believers can find it in them to try doing the same. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can get to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) As a Christian, I don't want to just see myself going to heaven; I hope to see everyone around me do the same by placing their faith in Jesus Christ. I don't want to see people burning in Hell when they die, when all they needed to do in life was believe in the Son of God. (John 3:16-17)

P.S. Kinda reminds me of the song "Reject Yourself" by Killswitch Engage.

Many people fall for the word trick of referring to the world or the Universe as creation.
If you use the word creation that implies a creator linguistically.
If you quit calling the world a "creation" and just call it the universe or the world that trick of language fades.
This is one of those instances where sloppy language use impairs your thinking.

smallbluepickle s ? sorry about that dude!
maybe you should believe in a Creator!
or, maybe this is why you don't!
It's easy to believe in a Creator (I call Him God). Just look in a mirror and see how awesome you are!! Do you think that just happen by chance?

Yeah, it's pretty funny (and sad) that we actually have to distinguish ourselves somehow for a lack of belief in things that don't exist. Not to mention defend a rational belief.

I don't think it's programming - plenty of hardcore religious types later realize that they were wrong. But some people may be more susceptible.
