There have been past lives and there will be future lives.
This is not quite the same as the concept of reincarnation.
It is a very long term cycle for the individual as a spiritual being.
But since you are your own immortal soul and do not die when the body dies......... what are the odds??!!

Reincarnation is both mathematically and morally inconsistent.
First of all given the exponential population growth where do all the extra souls come from? Compare world population figures with 5 AD 1600 AD and 2006 AD see what I mean?
Secondly and the reason a senior Buhddist friend of ours converted to Christianity - reincarnation presupposes you have to learn the lessons of a past life. But if you cannot remember the past life that is so unfair as to be the mark of a torturing god.
It is the freedom from the wheel of life which Christ offers that is the attraction to the person stuck on a karmic merry go round that never stops.
And as others have said = The Bible answers the reincarnation problem in one verse. Man is appoointed but ONCE to die and after that the judgement.

I was a married woman in my last life, with three children. I lived at One Vina Stratsa in Berlin Germany during the blitz in WW2.
I was shot accidentally in the cross fire by the Allied troops in their invasion through the Netherlands when I was trying to flee. I remember the exact spot; my last thoughts while I laid dying. And was buried in a mass grave outside Amsterdam.
Other than that, I remember only small insignificant events in that life, but to this day, I still have a terrible phobia about guns.
And I wonder what ever happened to my kids.

Only Jesus Christ was resurrected and lived again.
He was the only one.
He was NOT reincarnated...
The people and family who knew Him before He died on the cross, RECOGNIZED Him when He was resurrected.
He did NOT change into someone else or into some other creature. He was the same.
And no, there is no such thing as reincarnation.
You have ONE life on this Earth.
Your body is mortal and will fade and die over time.
The soul within you is immortal and will live forever.
You have a CHOICE where your soul will live forever.
Forever in The Lake Of Fire with Satan.
Forever in Heaven with Jesus Christ.

Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment ... (Hebrews 9:27)
Catholics and most other Christians believe there is no "reincarnation" after death.
Death is the end of man's earthly pilgrimage, of the time of grace and mercy which God offers him so as to work out his earthly life in keeping with the divine plan, and to decide his ultimate destiny. When "the single course of our earthly life" is completed, we shall not return to other earthly lives.
With love in Christ.

We are here just once. There is nothing like reincarnation. Deja vu is just a state of mind. I do believe in the life Hereafter.

definitely believe in reincarnation. I have big interests in certain historical things that have no explanation to me unless I was there once. fears that could only be explained as one of my past deaths. hey, let's face it....earth is a school and we will keep coming back to her until we graduate. remember the saying "what goes around, comes around". try and remember your dreams....there is a lotta stuff there.

I believed after I heard a couple of real life stories. But I cannot say for sure. I guess I'll have to wait to find out.

I do believe in it, but some of us will be new others will be old souls. After all the Earth's population is continually expanding.
