I was in a job I hated so much and my life was not at all what I wished it to be. I was in a city I no longer wanted to be in and I knew in my heart this just was not the place for me any more.

I decided to change my entire life and within a week I had quit a good, high paying job, moved to a new city, found a new job and apartment and changed my entire life. I had all kinds of people telling me I was crazy and I had lost it but I did it any way because I knew it was the right thing for me and that it would all work out for the best. But I don't mind telling you I was scared to death and it probably was one of the hardest things I have ever done.

yes.. i Feel I did.

I truly beleived God called me to do some mission work in a brand new place. I went...left my family,, and stepped into the big unknown. Not really knowing what to expect.

I have to say it was the BEST expereince and undertaking of my life! The Lord blessed me many times over for that leap of faith!

Also, becuase of my mission experience, I am now starting a brand new field job wise....so eventualyy i can do medical mission work some time in the future!!
Great Question!

Once I travelled to Paris for a business trip, but lost all my lugguages. It was a Sunday and Paris stores are closed except on Champs Élysées. I had absolutely nothing but some money and a credit card. I rebuilt from there... Bought all the essential things (clothes, some food), the minimally needed to start working on a challenging project the next day.

It was truly testing my faith! Things went alright at the end.

thats a good question. seein that this answer is comeing from a paranormal investigator i will tell ya. I took the leap of faith in getting married and it worked out great. and i also took the leap to start a paranormal group here in Montana and thats going great to. So if you feel its something worth putting your faith into do it and take the big leap.

Leaps of Faith....where to start?

Some things you are "led" to do are pretty easy to step out and do....others, especially when it's having to do with a "weakness" of yours or something you don't feel you're the RIGHT person for God to ask to DO because there are more QUALIFIED and RESPECTED Christians to do it, well, it's a very humbling and scary event sometimes....but God said to do it, and you had received confirmation from several different sources so you know it WAS the Lord telling you to do it.....

so, you make the first step....sometimes trembling sometimes blessedly firm with trust.....you often meet with a response from others that are wonderful, but, in other matters, people indeed look upon you in a "whom do you think you are to think that God told YOU to do that when He could have chosen others far BETTER Qualified"...(.LOL) ... and, you have to stand up taller, look them in the eyes and not shuffle like a house made of cards....

Hard to explain to children or other relatives when you feel the Lord is directing you to another town, city, or state... but, when they see the many unheard of "blessings" having to do with a move is something they have to digest quietly... till they can accept that no amount of self pity or argument can stand against something so obviously NOT explanable. (LOL)

The results in ALL of the above were far beyond what I expected.....and each time I was asked to "step out" made me a stronger Christian.

Was there ever a time I was asked to "step out in faith" and didn't? Or, were there times that a fellow Christian expected you to do so for something they expected to be done? I pray about it all.... and one person I thought was a dear friend whom would understand when I told her I couldn't help her niece as she wished AT THAT TIME, well, she turned away from our friendship because of it....and blamed me for her nieces' continued troubles no matter what....

Something like that can destroy a person's faith.... especially when someone you thought understood that you followed all avenues there was with the Lord before you would tell someone "no".....God said NOT AT THIS TIME....

Peace be with you :)

Yes & Yes!!! About three years ago I was living in Houston, TX and my husband and I were doing pretty well financially and otherwise. However, we had not been in church for years. One Friday all day long I could not shake the feeling that we were suppose to go to church. My hubby got home from work that night and I screamed (Not realizing that was what I was doing at the time.) that we needed to go to church. Well, the only church he had been to since he was 9 years old was a church in my small hometown. So, without asking me any questions we packed our bags for a trip to visit the family and drove four hours that very night and only went back to Houston to move and collect our belongings. We are now Sunday School teachers, he is a Deacon, works the Multi-Media, I am in charge of Sunday School teachers and the Nursery workers. Life is great and we have been blessed over and over!! Continuing to be blessed and we claim all that we have in the name of the one and only Jesus Christ. God Bless!!!

My dad has several times left good jobs to answer God's call and start a church. It has always been going to be a ministry blessed of God but instead it has alway failed and left the family hungry.

No leap of faith needed, Jesus is the savior, Paul is the Anti-savior. Both entities in the Bible.

Me and my family got up and move from California to South Carolina without knowing where we would stay. The Lord provided for us.
