It doesn't. Taking a human life without justification is murder....regardless of what spin people might put on it. If it has any bearing whatsoever on our relationship with God it would be to encourage us even more to live by his standards and to realize that man is essentially sinful and not to count on them. Man has always (in the name of God) pursued his own agenda. It was that way at the beginning and it is still that way today.
It is not until one can completely turn their life over to God that any effective change can come into our lives. It is then and only then (when we allow him to make our decisions) that we can become better people.

Where envy & strife, there confusion & evil(law).
God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace.
I do not want the peace that "passeth all understanding".
I want understanding that brings internal & eternal peace.
Peace is not won by war, but is the absence of war.
Winning a sides war is as disastrous as losing one.
God cannot be one by division; But is one by unity.
Reconciliation & unity is not alienation & division.
MARK & AVOID them which cause divisions: Romans 16.
Why avoid? I hear new F5 harvestors cut a mile wide swath.
Jesus: made under the law: "division" and not peace.
Christ: is the end of the law: "peace" and not dividead
Peace, with God, is "through Jesus->Christ"->God-ward.
Perhaps "division" is through Christ->Jesus->them-ward.
To WIT, that God was in "Christ" RECONCILING the world.
That God was NOT in Jesus alienating the world with sin.
The grace(only) of our Lord Jesus->Christ with you->all. Amen.

It doesnt, people who kill don't really follow GOD, because God wants peace no hate yet a firm belief against immoral acts. and all of those characteristics are not of god and mayb someone was mixed up and killed someone and came to god, but if they say they were already a christian then they werent becasue those who follow god leave life/death in his hands not yours

Cause and effect isn't Gods way according to Jesus. Now it may be to a lot of religous leaders who claim to know him but this just shows how little they really do.

When you know God better you want to please him. Therefore you will avoid things that do not honor or please him such as killing, robbing, lying, stealing, etc.
It's just like pleasing others in your life (parents, boyfriend/girlfriend, etc.) only on a much higher (actually the highest) level.
