If you don't have experience as a secretary/office assistant in New York, you will need to go to a temp agency. They will do typing test and other window operations test to see how qualify you are. When they have accessed your ability, they will place you into different jobs.

Your hourly income is around $12-20. Depending on your placement and ability.

Here is a list for you:

Go to an agency - they will do all the work for you. They will test you and teach you line you up with interviews and guide you. They are a dime a dozen. My advice go to the big companies, Goldman Sachs, JPMorganChase Deloitte Touche get in on a secretary pool they pay very well offer wonderful benefits with longtime stability for a great career. They also have tuitiion reimbursement if you want to better yourself, its all there for the taking. GOOD LUCK!!
