They go to Joseph A. Banks and say, "Man, we had a hell of a month for taking in lots of dough! Could you double the price of this suit? I need to justify my expenses."

The Bible says to beware of wolves in sheeps clothing and it is so plain that some televangelists are just that... They may talk about God but in an instant, they are begging for money.. That is not of God. What they are doing is asking for money to them to pray for you!
The only one I have never seen that is not that way is Charles Stanley. He is a very sincere man of God...

Why do you think they beg for money every 5 minutes?
I can only listen for a very short time. It feels as though I stepped in something squishy and smelly.

Grace (not law) unto you, and peace (not division),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus -> Christ.
It's preposterous order to teach & preach first, learn after.
You're referring to the false X-ians, not true Christ-ains.
It's best not to feed the trolls;
they only use it to trouble the water.
Then they want help getting into the troubled water: Jn 5.
JC did NOT help the man into troubled water: John 5.
Rather he healed the man with seven grace us words:
Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
But alas, he later found the healed man giving praise to law;
kinda like the woman caught in adult-ery in John 8:3-11;
And so to both man & woman he said: sin(law) no more.
Reason: lest your latter end be worse. Worse?
Mt 23: one proselyte: twofold: more the child of hell: worse!
Revelation: seven (other) spirits more wicked: "worse" end!
Thank God the term 'worst' isn't found in the New Testament.
Or is it: perhaps worst scenario is found in Colossians 2:22.
By the using of ordinances (laws) "all perish" = Extinction;
So then "touch not, taste not, handle not" ordinances(laws).
Law & Odor: Pew: Wake up and Smell the Odor of Death.
Awake from your law law dream, to righteousness: Grace.
The GRACE(ONLY) of our Lord J->C with you->all. Amen.

tv evangelists are not real Christians, they are bad people. I saw a special on them and cameras went into their mansions and they displayed all of their belongings. I can see why people are put off by religion when they witness this. Please realize that this is not what Christianity is supposed to be like. God did not want them to be rich even though they will tell you that is what was spoken to them

Some Christian televangelists are lying their way to the bank, supported by people who think they are buying their way into heaven. "...these people draw near with their mouths, and honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me,..."

Televangelists rip people of by preaching their false Gospel. They do not listen to the Bible when it says not to preach for money.

Why do you care so much anyway?? :-)
You're sure making Christians popular by talking about
them all the time.
Good question- if you dislike Christians so much,
why talk about them??

These people aren't really Christians. They're false teachers.
Yes, that probably is your money.
