It was Kurt Busch who almost hit the pit guy. Don't worry about it, I end up getting Kurt and Kyle mixed up all the time too.

Anyway, he should have been suspended. He said he had control of the car and he knew he wasn't going to hit him. Yes, as long at the pit man was paying attention and jumped out of the way! If he had been turned the other way or working on down on the tire, Kurt would have hit him.

It's unacceptable. You don't mess around when you behind the wheel of a racecar.

Kyle or Kurt pretty much inter-changable don't ya think?.But of course he should have been suspended or they should have let the crew guy who was carrying a wrench and approaching Kurts car while his crewmate was sparawled on Tony's hood to have a heart to heart with Kurt, that would have changed Kurts driving habits as well as him having to eat soft foods for about a year.Pit road justice.

It was Kurt Busch first of all.

Secondly, he was NOT TRYING TO HIT THE CREW MEMBER!!! He was pulling up to give Tony a piece of his mind and almost hit the guy. As bone headed as it was, it was an accident. People are calling it "attempted murder," and stuff like that. It was an accident, plain and simple.

I have read all of the answers to this one and I cant believe that just because it was an " accident" people dont think he should be penalized. WHAT A CROCK OF CHIT!!!!!!! Whether he meant to or not doesn't matter, the fact is he DID almost hit that crew man and he should have gotten a stiffer fine than he did. He should have had to sit out at least 2 races. This so called driver knew what he was doing when he ran into Stewart and he didn't give a damn if the crewman was in the way or not. Had it been any other driver they would have thrown the book at him.

It was Kurt Busch--and yes!!! I think that Kurt Busch is a jerk!! I am sad that he took over Rusty Wallace's car. I think that he is a big idiot, a dirty driver and that he needs a HUGE fine and suspension!! Him and Tony have been going round since last year. And all though he wasn't trying to "hit" the guy---it was certainly unsafe, and he is an injury waiting to happen!!

Two years ago he was arrested for "speeding" (they declined his DUI) and he yelled at the cops "Don't you know who I am"---like it would or should have mattered. It shows his arrogance, his childishness, and his need for a reality CHECK!!!!!!!!!!! CAN'T STAND HIM!!!

Kyle Busch on the other had, minus his many accidents this year, is a "good kid"and a pretty decent driver!!

Well first off it's KURT Busch and secondly he wasn't TRYING to hit Stewart's jackman. He had nothing personal against Tony's crew but merely wanted to give Smoke a piece of his mind. He did almost hit him and his penalty should have been more severe with at least a 1 race suspension.

If Kurt Busch wanted to hit the crewman he would have,so he was not trying to hit him.He was sending a message to Tony Stewart. And NO he should not have been suspended NASCARs decision is in the past ,lets let it go.Just the message to Stewart remains, and I bet Stewart will remember it for a while.I believe NASCAR thinks Busch did them all a favor and got Stewarts attention, that's why he was not suspended.I wouldn't doubt that they gave Busch his money back.
