The Mexican government admits (so you know it is higher) that approximately 120,000 of it's troops have deserted it's military. Many of these deserters are highly trained special forces types (trained by the US Army!). They are called "Zetas" and many are assumed to be working for the drug cartels.
Mexico refuses to give the names of these deserters to the US government.
There best intelligence is that the majority of these "Zetas" live in the US and refuse to return to Mexico due to potential military prison sentences.
If amnesty is not granted to these and other illegals aliens, there is a strong possibility that the "Zetas" will resist being deported by force.
The US government can NOT prevent groups already in the US from engaging in criminal/military acts (see the poor record on dealing with the Central American MS 13 gang which also started with military deserters).
So what would you do, grant amnesty, maintain the peace or get ready for war within our borders?

If you read my other posts, you would see that I am very much AGAINST amnesty!
I just don't think many of you see the (faulty) reasoning behind some elected official's strong support of an amnesty that is so obviously against the interests of the USA (if you factor out the Zetas aspect).
Do you think the majority of the elected officials will do the right thing or will they "surrender" our country to an invading (deserter) army like the Vichy French did?

Do you think that they somehow quit being criminals and suddenly become model citizens in the USA?

I ma against most wars including the Neo-Con Iraq (and coming soon Iran) Wars but I would support a war with Mexico to destroy M-13, Zetas and the rest of the Narco-terrorists as well as remove all illegal aliens from our nation.
We should claim 1 - 2 miles of Mexican territory along the entire Mexican Border and make it a permanent border wall like the one we built in Israel - except I would make two walls.

I guess they & you forgot the second ammemend the rights 2 bare arms. Not many countrys have this so don't think we are like the Iraq people that sit an hid till we die or are taken over by a bunch of nobody criminal illegal aliens.Thats Not going to happen. Let the Gov= chickens do there playing amnesty.We the people have spoken.NO Amnesty & close the borders enforce the laws we have.We are not asking the Gov= we are telling them.Then they can leave.Don't ever threaten the people of the USA.

Polish old betsy and pass the amunition. We can't let a small group of Mexican deserters take over our country. I know how many elite forces we have and they won't stand a chance. People may die but you've seen the stats, the illegals are killing so many of us now that it's ridiculous. They may be the the last straw to our nation and we will stand and fight for our country! No I do not support Amnesty. Who cares-- they are criminals in Mexico and they are criminals here in the US
There is not many of them and they will be crushed. Our army is still huge here in America. And that isn't to say there is even a million of them. Don't forget, Americans are mad as hell and Americans carry guns. Even American gang members wouldn't mind whooping there ***. So get real. Eff Amnesty and Eff you. In addition to our Police/Sheriffs Departments, we have a well armed group called civilians. I laugh every time I see someone say the USA "can't" do something. If it's a war they want (and they don't because the outcome on that one is 100% certain), then it's a war they'll get. We don't grant amnesty to criminals...Period. If they don't like it, then we can play a game called "Cowboys and Criminals". Want to guess who will win?

Actually, that is an excellent reason for tracking them down and deporting them. Letting them stay because 'we are afraid of their reaction' is insane, if what you say is true.
