I had gallbladder surgery on the 7th of this month and still am in pain when you push on the area where the gallbladder was is this normal also am having pain in my shoulder still will this ever end it feels like I still have a gallbladder I had laparascopic surgery and am obese I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem??

Not normal. Consult with your doctor. You should have had a follow-up appointment by now.

You should not still be in pain. Call the doctor and scheduale a follow up. Don't push on the incision site in the meantime. The shoulder pain is common with gallbladder inflamation. This is not the norm, get checked out. Good luck and no it wont last forever.

It takes a while for the healing to be complete so being a little sore would be expected...however you should not have pain. The pain in your shoulder is from the carbon dioxide they pump into you to infalte your abdomen during laproscopic surgery (it seeps up to the shoulder area and puts pressure on a particular nerve). You should not still be in pain after 17 days. See your doctor ASAP and get expert advice.
