I am not always so sure what to answer to these sorts of questions, but I'm almost positive in your case, that this is an Australian Shepherd/ German Shepherd mix. She has the coloring of a tri-color Australian Shepherd, and the body build of a German Shepherd.
She is so beautiful! Good luck with her! :D

My guess would be a German Shepherd mixed with either a Belgian Malinois or a Belgian Sheepdog, hence the long black and tan coat. The finer head would come from the German Shepherd. Go to www.akc.org and look at the dog breeds there. Also make sure to compare general temperments and things like that, because appearence in a dog isnt everything!

It's a bit hard to tell in the pics. I would say definitely lab/ shepherd, but maybe more. With mixed breeds even if we know what both parents are, we don't know what genes their getting from previous generations. Wouldn't it be nice if they all came with a resume and a geniality record? Mixed breeds are the best because they pick up good genes from both sides. Bless you for rescuing and saving another innocent little life!

Just by taking a look like at your new dog I think it is a mix between and German Shephard and a Rottweiler. I work at a animal hospital so if you can actually believe the different mixes we see but I used to have a Rottweiler so it has the same color pattern. The coat is longer and bushy so mostly I would say German Shephard.

At least two companies now offer dog DNA tests for about $100 or so. The Wisdom Panel⢠MX Mixed Breed Analysis is the most comprehensive DNA-based mixed breed test for dogs. It identifies more than 130 AKC-recognized breeds that may be present in mixed breed dogs and will allow veterinarians to answer one of the most frequently asked questions by pet owners, "What is my dog's breed mix?" I am very tempted to do this myself for one of my own dogs!

I don't know but i would say it is a mix between a Rottweiler and some kind of herding dog. I see the shepherd's long nose, and the Rottie's markings and ears.

What a beautiful dog!! I would say she is a german shepherd/labrador/collie mix but the ears are small like a jack russell!! At least she's one of a kind!! You could pick her out in a crowd!!

I would say shepherd and lab mix would be my best answer. Also possibly black retriever mix or austrailian shepherd. Pretty dog!

guessing is all as there is no way of ever knowing the vet can't even do any kind of DNA test.
It culd be anything my sister had an accidental breeding of a cocker and a chihuahua and the pups didn't look like either and the one she kept look more like a long haired doxi
Tehre is no chance it was bread by any other males.
