well the first thing i would look at is my fuses. there is usually one on the amp and one by the batter cable. depending on who installed it. the next tests you can do require a hot wire tester(it looks like a screw driver with a light bulb on the end). you check you're main power the big red wire to see if it's suppling your amp with power. if the light don' t come on that's your problem. next step is your remote wire its usually blue or yellow check that wire with the tester. if that wire is good also the last step is to check your ground wire. you do this by clipping the tester to it and checking the hot wires. if none of this works than your amp is fried. it might sound a little complicated but it really is pretty simple

If, it worked (Played) then it may have blown the fuse. Check the fuse and read what the amp say it need, size type. Then replace with the correct size fuse. This all I know.
