If a beautiful woman from a local city sparks an interest in you over Match.com and this person says that she is modelling for a clothing company in Nigeria, would you believe them. Also, this new email has several mispelled words. Did I just give my email address to a Nigerian scammer?

Yes - you are being played and Yes - you gave your email address to a scammer. You are probably talking to a man in a "boiler room".

Sadly, Nigeria is so bad, that you cannot rely on it at all.

If your email address has any banking emails, delete them now and have the addressed pulled.

Don't worry too much, the scammers are probably not actually in Nigeria, however you did get scammed

maybe, best thing to do, not to give it and ask her to meet you some where. or give out your phone number, they can't spam you then, but still leaves the option of keeping in touch open

I wouldn't ever use match.com unless it was with people I knew, so my answer is don't give it.
