unless u havent not really being doing much work and have hugh untapped potential, then lowering ur 100m pb by 1 second in one summer wud be hard, but not impossible, i mean all the factors have to be takeing into account,

age
current pb
when u ran it
weight
height
strength
current shape and physical condition
what training have you being doing
what training are you doing
where are you racing

and so on the list is endless

It all depends upon what your starting time is. The better your starting point , the more difficult this task will be. For example:
14 sec-> 13 sec,maybe; 13-> 12 or 12->11, Don't think so.
A second in a 100M race is a long time!

its depens on in how much u cross it but I think if u aint a pro player u can do it

run with weights all summer. don't run w/out them until the end of summer
