I would probably avoid the Crystal Light because I am not a fan of those artificial sweeteners.
Perhaps try experimenting with making your iced green tea with local honey. The sugar in honey is more complex than white sugar, so it is healthier in that respect. Plus, local honey is good if you suffer from pollen allergies (but not tree bark allergies). I had allergies but now I am medication free thanks to the local honey (which supposedly takes about 3 months to build up the resistance.) Try to find the most local honey (made closest to where you live)...these might be found at your farmer's market. More specifically, the 'wildflower' local honey seems to be popular with allegy sufferers. Sorry for the tangent.
Don't know about the nestle product, but my guess is it has a lot of processed sugar or corn syrup in it if it is anything like Arizona. It's just a step better than drinking soda if so.
I'm not sure about 'speeding up' the metabolism, but to way to improve your body's metabolism is by healthy nutrition and exercise. Eat whole-grain products (not just wheat products), stay away from heavily processed foods, favor fresh fruits and vegetables, and drink more water or tea (over sugary drinks). It's okay to enjoy a soda or juice once in a while, just don't make them your primary hydrators.

For your first question, I would brew the green tea with hot water the night before and put it in the fridge to cool it. All the commerical, pre-made green tea's contain very little green tea and too much sugars/ sugar substitutes. I believe this cancels the benefits of the tea.

Black Tea is better for ice tea making than green tea. If you really want to make ice green tea, you might have to double the dose of tea leave/bags.

I wouldn't drink "processed/packaged" tea from Nestle/Lipton/Arizona.

-when making iced tea, double the amount of tea you use.
-only fresh loose leaf tea will help you speed up metabolism and you would have to drink it at least 3 times a day for a couple of weeks to see any results.
...also try drinking oolong (aka wu-long ). Oolong is another category of tea, it falls in between black and green, and sometimes refered to as dieter's tea...
