I've liked a guy for ages at dancing lessons..lately he has been giving me heaps of attention(hugging me, hi-fiving me, asking me to dance heaps)...my best friend likes him too and dicided to tell him she likes him..So she did..He said that he didn't like her and that he likes a girl at his school...I didn't hear this and dicided that I would get one of my friends to tell him that I like him...Then he started ignoring me and not talking to me...then, I found out what he had said to my friend that likes him too..I was mortified and didn't know what to do, so i ignored him too..Now he's on a four week holiday...do you think he was lying to mey friend that likes him about him liking a girl at his school and likes me, or likes the girl at his school? i'm so confused and love him so much! please help! =(

Well, I would go with the assumption that he likes this girl at this school, if he really liked you, then he would be giving you lots of attention instead of high fiving you, I would just take these four weeks and give him time and when he gets back see where it goes!
If he calls you, and still wants to be friends with you, then great, but if he ignores you, then respect that, and move on and find another guy that will treat you more than just one of his buddies!

Yeah Sonya, and you've got me confused too. But in any case, the solution is this:
1. Groom immaculately
2. Dress nicely
3. Study harder than ever
4. Don’t use profanity
5. Spend an hour a day in the library
6. Spend an hour a day at the gym
7. Honor your parents and your teachers
8. Get involved in a worthy school function
9. Volunteer a few hours a week for a worthy cause
10. Help someone every day
11. Go to Church
12. Invite your friends to Church
13. Take group dance lessons
14. SMILE
15. Speak badly of no one
Good Luck

well the best advice anyone can give is to go to him yourself and talk to him and find out because coming from a guys point of view we like it when a woman is straight forward and doesn't try to hide how she feels. if he does have a girl at his school that he likes then tell him ok i was just wondering and then just be his friend.

I just want to make sure I understand the question, some guy doesn't like you and he has gone away for four weeks so you are asking strangers for help?
Ok, here is my advice, go find someone else.
Do you have any questions?

ARE YOU CRAZY. You never ask your friend to ask a guy she likes if the boy likes you. Your friend might be lyin because she's jelous. Or you ,gotta go up to him and dance wit him and flirt and kiss him and say you like him and want to be wit him!!!! Thats wen he comes back or ask one of his friends for his cell number call him and talk.

about him ignoring you...i guess he's shy?
i mean...he have no reason to ignore, both of you can still be friends right?
you don't have to care who he likes actually. just be nice to him and he'll learn to appreciate you someday.
all the best ;)

common problem amoung teens is the lack of nerve. Suck it up and go talk to him yourself. Tell him what you've had no problem telling us and then see where the conversation goes.

From my experience - you shouldn’t analyze that situation, just go and talk to him! There is no way that you will know what he thinks without talking to him!!!

You must not take someone you love for granted, or his love. You should have cemented the deal.
