Not really. My boyfriend and I have a pretty strict budget, so we make a list and stick to it. Our rule is that we can each get 2 "freebies" that aren't on the list, but they have to be $5 or under. That way we don't go over budget but still get to have the impulse-buy candy bar.

Sometimes I wonder if supermarkets rearrange the store continually with the intentional purpose of disorienting regular shoppers and increasing impulse purchasing. End caps. Cheap crap near the registers. Their wiles are endless.

No because I make a list and stick to it. I never shop when I am hungry either.
