Since you don't seem to need to lose a lot of weight, i would just bump up the cardio a little. jump roping is a cheap and effective way to burn quite a few calories in a short amount of time. ( check out www.fitnessmagazine.com for some good jump rope workouts - and just good workouts in general)
about eating healthy, obviously, you don't have much control over what comes into the house. if you eat at fast food places a lot, there are still sorta healthy things you can buy there. a salad is obviously better than a hamburger - just keep the dressing to a minimum, since they're loaded with calories. maybe you could ask your grandma ( or whoever gives the food allowance) to give you a little money in order to buy some nutritious snacks. good luck!

You are in a difficult situation. Ask Grandma if you can buy a portion of the food for the two of you. She could give you some of the money to buy:
low fat protein--canned salmon, canned tuna, chicken, turkey
fresh veges
fruits
Instead of drinking soda (never drink diet soda as it causes you to retain fluid and increases appetite) drink water, and plenty of it.

You can make healthy choices at fast food places. McDonald's has nutrition pamphlets near their counter so you can choose the items that are low fat, and lower in calories. FYI the burgers at McDonald's often have less calories than the chicken, so read the pamphlets or check out the nutrition facts on their website. Their wraps are a good choice, or go for the big & tasty and an unsweetened ice tea.

If your aunt keeps eating like you say then soon she won't be healthy enough to buy the food. She will end up with diabetes and or heart disease. It sounds like she has some psycological problem that she is feeding with all the junk food.

Life is a series of choices, and where you go in life depends upon each one. Make the best ones you can in your situation. When you are 16 get a job and buy your own food. Learn what you can about nutrition, and perhaps go to college and become a nutritionist so that you can help others.

You need to be eating protein, fruits and veggies. Nothing fried. Only small small portions of anything like potatoes or breads....Even better Don't eat them at all. Not over 1 tablespoon of fats, oils and margarine... And you cake and ice cream is not healthy.

2 to 3 miles a day are probably fine if you are eating healthily.

Maybe you should talk to your grandmother about you and her buying your own food together instead of giving your aunt the money.

First of all at 14 years old I wouldnt worry too much about your weight sweetheart. Your 5'1" and 110 pounds thats not a bad weight for that height. Second of all with your body going through all the changes and your hormones going 'crazy' at this age, your going to notice many many changes, you will gain weight and then loose it with the many growth spurts you will be going through. All in all i would suggest eating as healthy as you can, try to stay away from fried greasy foods, and junk food, softdrinks, koolaid etc.. but again i wouldnt worry about your weight at this point, enjoy being a teenager, and enjoy your life. Dont stress out this young over your weight. Too many girls do this to themselves and end up with severe eating disorders. Enjoy being a kid... and have fund doing so.

You are young. One very good thing is you are concerned about your health. I don't think you should be so worried about your weight. You should start to lose a pound or two soon, but don't get all freaked out because you won't be at your aunts forever. Eat more of the good foods you encounter. You may lose/gain and get a little taller over the net 5-6 years. Don't try to starve yourself because your body will panic and think it's going to starve to death and this will make you fat. Your metabolism will slow down and you will begin to store fat. Not a good thing.

Eat only when hungry and not more than three times a day with nothing, except water, in between. Take plenty of uncooked food, say 50%, vegetables and fruits. Chew each morsel 32 times to activate ur body system to signal hunger and fullness.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve much more than what u r planning to do and that too in a reasonable period.

First, for your age, you seem about right to me. Don't get overly concerned about your weight, you're still growing. Your body still needs the right foods to make you healthy. Second you may be over doing your exercise. Ease up some, eat smaller portions, and avoid junk food as you have. But drink lots and lots of water.

if you have access to one try bicycling. it's low impact and personally running seems like too much hard work for me. however i can ride my bicycle for hours. like any thing else it takes time. as far as the food is concerned i eat at least one salad day, and yes i let my self have croutons on them. there are so many great tasting low cal dressings out there today. i use a wide variety of veggies, and the nice thing is they are inexpensive and good for you. actually your hieght and weight are right on target. if you don't babysit try it out for extra spending money of your own, then you could control your diet,
by buying the things you like. oh yeah drink lots of water, and juice stay away from the pop. both of these are available at fast food resturants. may i also suggest talking to your student councillor, sounds to me like theres more going on here than just the need to loose 5 pounds. hope this helps

It's going to hard for you to lose weight since you weigh only 110 pounds in the first place. read this for more info on that: http://www.nowloss.com/weight-loss-factors.htm and look at the 1st factor

At your age it probably doesnt matter what you eat but... you want to eat at least 5 small meals a day and you can go here to get help with that:

I hope this helps a little
