This is from the Airline Quality Rating, an independent report that rates the quality of different airlines.

"The new Airline Quality Rating is out and Southwest airlines received the fewest complaints of any airline in 2006. United and US Airways both tied for the highest number of complaints."

US Airways had people waiting in line for three hours Thursday night in Fort Lauderdale because of lost luggage. They are consistantly ranked low in Cusomter Satisfaction surveys. Good luck!

No, it is horrible. They lost my luggage THREE times, on all of the three flights I went with them. The first time, I few from Rochester, NY to Honolulu and it was not put on the plane to hawaii. They put it on the next plane, which was cancelled due to bad weather. Second time, I flew from Tampa, Florida to Rochester and they somehow lost the luggage in Philidelphia and they later found it in Charles DeGalle airport in PARIS FRANCE. You get the idea.... How did it go from a domestic flight to a international one? How does ROC look like CDG? Who knows.....
If you are taking luggage, STAY AWAY.... if you are flying w/o any luggage, fly them if they are the cheapest alternative, otherwise, don't.

I just fly to Baltimore on Southwest and it was great. I also returned via SW, both flights left 5 minutes early and arrived on time. ALL the people were extremely friendly! US air I think is / was in default. There out of Pittsburg. If the city you are flying to is a Hub maybe you'll get good service.

I belive all airlines are descent because they all try to fulfill their obligations to customers by proving the best possible service they can. Unless your on a return trip to USA then there is a 1 in 100 chance of suicide bomb.

Was not impressed and then they offered me a master card. What a disgrace. Customer service is non existent. So, I will avoid them at all costs.
I have been happy with Continental. They seems to be on time and can always get a direct flight. I do like NWA, but do not like the transfers. They do not have that many gates and you seems to always extend the trip with the transfers.

It depends if you fly first class or the regular coach, as I call it.
I got offered a soda and some peanuts and I bought myself an airplane bottle of rum, very nervous about flying.

I don't know about now but back when they were called Allegheny Airlines their nickname was "Agony Airlines".
