If you can't understand the necessity of learning, you are not as "bit intelligent" as you think you are.

Don't do the WORK!!! You can pass your classes with a D and still graduate!!!
OK, but first.. take a look at the employment section of the newspaper and see what jobs are available.. don't look at those that just require you to memorize the phrase "Would you like fries with that?" but look at REAL career jobs that pay more than say.. $30,000 per year...
NOW, what education is required for those jobs? You will find that a good education is required for the majority of the good jobs. A 4 year degree for many and even MORE education for those that pay well...
Next.. think about college.. where are YOU planning to go? If you are NOT planning to go to college.. you should memorize the phrase "Would you like fries with that?"
When you get to college you will be doing a LOT more reading and writing than what you are doing now.. you are now just building up your brain's stamina so that you can do 5 or 6 hours of homework every day (or more if you are having a hard time understanding what you read)...
OK, you just wanna chill.. then you can work at a fast food restaurant or deliver pizzas (a great job!) and share a 3 bedroom trailer with your buddies for the rest of your life...
Or do you want to drive a decent car? Get married? Live in a house?...
You decide. Work, play, chill... you get to decide what you do.. but you do not get to decide the consequences of your actions.

It all depends on what kind of employment you want in the future. Will you go on to further study?May be you need to reorganise your life so you can enjoy your life better .Life at high school is a cinch compared to being out in the world of practical living in the world.

Success full careers are mostly hard work. Even if you don't apply what you are studying to later life, you are learning what it takes to be committed. To be successful in anything, you must be committed. To "chill" and relax are the rewards of hard work.
