Forget about it this is bigger than all of humanity cooperating and acting as one
And can you see this happening
so far we are still thinking more about war
But this Environment still provides us with all of the nessecities for existance
like water and Air and soil and climate to live and grow food in so it is in the best interest of all who live on this planet to try and take the best of possible care of it
Governments seem to be moving in the oposite direction if the quest for Ethanol is anything to go by.

Well, Global Warming Is UnStopAble. People Don't Care About It, But For Some Reason So Much Do. People Are Doing Somehtings About It But They Can't Get Anything Close To Enough People To Help Them. Little Things Like, Unplugging Un used appliances and Turning Off UnUsed Lights Are Easy Steps But People Would Rather Watcha TV While The Earth Is Being Deestroyed.

Assuming its really happening, its not going to stop until the burning of fossil fuels is drastically slashed. By that I mean 25% or 50% or 75% or maybe even 99%. I'm not certain anyone knows at what point the warming trend will halt.
And the need for fossil fuel is not going to go away until people are willing to give up vast quantities of land to put up solar collectors and wind farms, which on the scale we are talking about means, added together, land equal to small US states. I don't expect that to ever happen.
So to really answer your question, global warming isn't going to be halted, let alone reversed until people overcome their fears of NEW nuclear power plants. I emphasize new because when you think about it nobody is so afraid of existing plants they've cleared the countryside around them, the average person actually has no idea where they are at the time. It's also time to quit worrying about storing 50,000 tons of glassified nuclear waste inside a desert mountain.
This is probably not the answer you were hoping for but its the truthful one just the same.

There is no way to stop global warming. The real problem is the destruction of tropical rainforests, and there is no way to reverse the damage that's already been done. Tropical rainforests act as heat sinks and absorb huge amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere. Millions of acres of rainforest have been cleared in the past 25 years, so much that the process of climate change cannot be stopped.

This can't be answered in this short space, it can only be debated. Debate is not science. Here's the science (links) and, you have to actually look at the data and the facts. It takes time to do that. The first link is the quickest to see what's going on.
It's real and mostly man made.

summarized at:

Scientists agree about it, BECAUSE of the scientific proof:

Here's the plan to fix it. Basically conserve energy and develop alternative sources of energy.

- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, so you do not need these factories burning to produce the same product over and over again.
- Switch off electricity when not in use.
- Many other stuff

we cant stop it. but there are many ways to help. start off with planting trees and plants around your house, which absorb CO2 in the air. Next, everyone should try limiting pollution from cars and other vehicles. Try searching the web for tons and tons of more info- even books and movies help.

of course it is real, otherwise how would you explain about all the ice-caps melting and stuff? We should be driving our cars less, I think we should change our system of transportation by using bicycles instead. Oh and thanks for asking your question, you're another person I've got convinced of of preventing global warming, you must notice that it is becoming serious now.

it is real. we can help stopping it by not burning things especially plastics, by using paper bags instead of plastic bags (because they decompose longer), by not using hair sprays and stuff, by limiting the use of cars, refrigerators, etc.
those are just small ways on how you can help. you can start by doing those first before doing the more complicated ones. :)
