Such as crimes...it's humans who caused the suffering...not some deity we believe exists or some deity we don't even believe exists. Thoughts?

The most empowering moment is when you realize you truly create your own reality, your own world. Therefore YOU also have the power to change it! When you relinquish or give your power away to someone or something else you set yourself up to feel powerless to change anything.

The real awakening is each individual realizing that they have the spark of the Divine within them and with that the power to create their world in their own highest good and the good of all!
Choose to take your power and use it to make your choices from a position of strength not weakness and see the difference in the choices you make!

Well, being one who believes in the Deity, judgment day will be the day everyone owns up to their actions.

If I were one who did not believe I would say that the Utopian society you speak of will never exist. Mankind, while improved, has not moved towards that particular enlightenment. Think of it this way in order for your scenario to come to be over six billion people would have to think about their fellow man and consider themselves equal to them and not try to take from them in any fashion, but rather share and share alike. Face it this world will never exist.

But, it would be a neat experiment. Take a bunch of infants from every corner of the world and put them in a Utopian setting and have the care givers only teach the rudimentary skills and not any other ideals and see what happens. I think you will see "Lord of the Flies" at worst or "The Village" at best. Either way you will find a snake in the garden.

We who believe in God do blame humanity for the bad choices made.

However, we also believe that our thought life is a powerful tool and can think good and evil.

I do believe that truly evil spirits can influence our thoughts. We hear, listen and plan the action. If we had true self-control that only the Holy Spirit of God can give, bad things would not take place, only good.

But many humans have no self-control or exercise the power to subdue it, thus, we have wars, hatred, corruption, murder, etc. in the world.

I believe that those thoughts, bad or good, come from the heart of every individual. That is why God tells us to think good thoughts, think on those things that are pure and lovely. When God is in your life you obey this.

Such is the problem of humanity. We refuse to take responsibility for our 'sins'. we push it off on our parents or inanimate objects that 'made' us kill someone.
Others blame God for the problems of the world. We were given the power to 'subdue' the Earth. This means that nothing is beyond what we can do. We can greatly reduce suffering if we humble ourselves, go by the divine wisdom that we reject, and actually do something to make the world a better place.
It definitely is not by killing God.

Some people will never take responsibility on their own because they do not understand the true concept of love, if they did they would not have done what they did in the first place. God says to love even your enmity's, if everyone lived with that in their heart, to love everyone as brothers and sisters one could not bring themselves to do what causes another pain. I think to love someone that lives to do others wrong is the most difficult love to have but if everyone did that and lived like that as an example it would change many hearts even the harden ones. Could you imagine if someone hurt you or committed a crime to you and you action was to just show them love and forgive them instantly how it could change there heart, but most people look for revenge because of there pain. look at what Jesus did, he did nothing wrong yet even through his pain and suffering while he was dieing on the cross he ask his Father to forgive them.(Unconditional and amazing Love).

Absolutely. Everyone's always shouting about their rights. It's about time the same people were thinking about their responsibilities. If there's famine in Africa, that's down to our selfishness and greed, not God. If someone murders a kid, that's not God's fault, it's human sin. It's good people are still repulsed by evil but pointing the finger at God is ridiculous.

God gave us Free Agency.. we make our own choices.. we are given some guidelines (the 10 commandments) for times when we are unable to hear the voice of the Holy Ghost...

ALL of us are given the Light of Christ which tells us right from wrong.. but many people have turned their backs on the light for so long that they can no longer see it.

Most people are "heros" in their own stories, and don't believe that they are making "bad" choices, but right choices.

Hopefully we will evolve to better things, but I think at this time trying to improve ourselves individually is the best that we can do...kinda working from the inside out :)

You are so right! I see that you do not believe in a God, but you are right! People who claim to be a worshiper of a God, blame their God for the bad thing that happen in this word saying " It is Gods will. " or " He wanted another angel with him ", That one makes me sick! How sad. That makes it hard to for people to even believe in God. If they would just read the bible they would know that we have free will, and the true God Jehovah, will not shelter us from our bad choices. We have to sleep in the bed we make. If you do believe in a God, forgive me for my error. But GREAT question!!!!

People would take more responsibility for their own choices if there werent so many benefits from being a "victim".
