Like a sign of LOVE( sarcasm here) or isn't it more like an ULTIMATUM , just a coercive way to FORCE YOU TO LOVE SOMETHING? How can they not see that a LOVING GOD WOULD NOT TORTURE people just because they did not believe HE EXISTED?

The bizarre part is how many people fall for it.

Why should you think God will honor them with eternal life when they wanted nothing to do with God while they were alive. It never ceace to amaze me how that people think they can live a sinful & God will still let them into heaven. By the way, if you don't believe in God, why are you trying to ease your mind with someone that may tell you exactly what you want to hear, even though it is not correct.

I know it's hard, but I think that Fundies honestly belive their crap - believe that they have a job to save other people regardless of their self will.

It's Arrogance 1st class. But I guess their intention justifies the means.

There is no fire in hell.
That whole concept is a lie put out by christendom.
Christendom has proved herself the worst representative of Christianity that could ever exist.

God has sent His perfect one and only Son as a Sacrifice for us so that we would not have to endure hell. All we have to do is accept Him. You don't have to say a rosary, don't have to kill yourself, or give money, or sacrifice animals. You don't have to do anything, except BELIEVE IN HIM. If you don't, then that is your fault and no one elses.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

When you do believe in Him and accept Him, it is promised that you will have eternal life in heaven. So you have nothing to lose by accepting Jesus and everything to gain!!

what they see is that the loving God is giving ample time now for all to be obedient to his word but so many want it their way and soon one they will have it the way he promised you will get your just reward ,sounds like someone like all the bad and wants all the good rewards.confused call on Jesus he will lead you in the right path so the things will not bother you but that you will rejoice when you see them because it is his children doing his will.

Fear puts the blinders on people.

Christians are terrified of the honest realization of G-d as pure and perfect love.

Well I guess we all will get our chance to sort this one out eventually................see you in the line. Apparently we will all be there and get one final chance to acknowledge God through Jesus. If he is there in front of you it would be hard to say he didn't exist I rekon.

All sin must be punished. We understand that concept. We put people who commit crimes in jail. If God didn't punish all sin, he wouldn't be perfect and he wouldn't be righteous. Would you applaud the non-punishment of rapists and murderers? He's done all he can to keep you out. He died on a cross so that you don't have to. He paid your debt, all you have to do is swallow your pride, admit you've done wrong things in your life and accept it. If you don't accept his free offer of forgiveness, there is no one else to blame for your eternal destiny but yourself. Make the right decision.
