There has been surprisingly little outcry over Guantanamo, Abu Graib or conflicts involving other religions.

Only when we hear of Christians being persecuted, as in Darfur, do other Christian's care.

The people at Guantanamo bay & Abu Graib are many of just some of the people that was invovlved in 9/11, & The people in Darfur was not a part of it. Therefore if you think so much of those at Guantanamo bay, why not join them, Yes we Christians do care for their souls, & everyone souls, But there comes a time, that God will turn them over to a reprobate mind, When God does that, then those people don't even have a conscience, & what God had cursed, who are we to try to change God's mind.

This is not true. I care alot about many atheists. However why do you only care about the terrorists? A few hundred maybe tortured now but think of how many thousand Saddam tortured much more brutally. I do not understand how people can complain about the relatively petty crimes at Guantanamo and Abu Graib if they know of the horrors that Saddam committed against innocent people. I am not saying Guantanamo and Abu Graib is right but its a whole lot better than Saddam.

I think you have very selective hearing.

There is has been a HUGE outcry over Guantanamo, Abu Graib, etc.
However, in both of the places you have mentioned all together,
less than 10000 people were effected.

Darfur is a genocide approaching half a million people. Just the
difference in numbers, ignoring the religions, is enough to make
different people pay notice.

The people who are being perscuted in Darfur are Muslims. Muslims are killing Muslims. Please learn a little something about the situation before making judgments.

The people who were persecuted in southern Sudan were Christians and animists.

I think that the poor treatment of any human beings is sick and wrong. But the question about this deals with the political side of people more than the religious side.

That's not true.

There has been an outcry over Guananamo and Abu Ghraib.

And my church has tried to help people around the world, regardless of religion. So what was your question again?

that is NOT true...

you are comparing the treatment of criminals and terrorists who should receive the death penalty anyhow to innocent people..those people on abu graib woudl have treated american prisoners must worse than what they got....they enjoy beheading people and other vicious activites.....they are animals....not people.

Just saying you are a Christian does not make you one....wasnt there something written once about --as you do unto the least of my brethern , you do unto me...Preaching does not equal practicing your religion.

That's a very wrong statement, I myself am a christian and I strongly care about non-christian's as well as christians
