to be honest the best way is not to go on a diet as ive tried them all and diet pills and they dont work lol but just change your diet and go swimming 4-5 times a week for about an hour each time it tones your tummy and all your body up wonderful too ! i lost 2 stone since may its great and i eat loads too im just eating the right foods but instead of swimming try aqua arobics its great and really fun ! great question star for you and goodluck !

I wanted to do the same, so I had a trainer show me some exercises to do at the gym. Basically it's all about using weights or different weight machines for your arms. If you want to tone up and lose the fat rather than putting on muscle (not that you really would because you're a woman) you should do more reps with less weight then say less reps with more weight. I noticed within 2weeks my arms changed shape, so it's very much a matter of sticking to your exercises as well and of course eating right.

Bad news! It's not really possible to lose weight in just one place. To lose weight on your arms you have to lose weight everywhere. The best way to do this is through cardio exercise. Run, swim, cycle, sex, anything that gets you sweaty and out of breath is burning off fat.
To specifically tone the muscles in the arms (so that when you lose the excess fat they look defined), add some bicep curls and tricep curls to your workout. You can do these at home with full bottles of water, or in the gym with dumbells:

Try and tone up the muscles by clasping your hands behind your back and pushing upwards as far as you can, or if this does not work look at them as beautiful, better than little skinny arms with all the bones poking out!

If it's 'dinner lady arms' as my children lovingly call mine, then you need to do lots of 'pulling up weeds' exercises.
Keeping your legs straight, bend from the waist, reach down and forward and grab and pull at imaginary weeds. Pull your arms back quickly until your hands are level with your chest. Repeat.
Good for the boobs too. Apparently.

Know what you mean, you need to tone it up. Get weights and do exercise. Most gyms have a machime that you can use. I go to the Toning Tables and they are great for every bit of you.

Do slow reps with weights if you want to build muscle and quick reps if you want to keep fit. Good Luck!
